摘要: An electromechanical, fill-level, measuring device, comprising: a float, an outer drum with an outer ring of magnets, an inner drum with an inner ring of magnets, electromagnetic measuring elements, a measuring shaft with, and a servomotor with an drive shaft. The drive shaft is coupled with the measuring shaft via a transmission, wherein the servomotor rotates the measuring shaft via the transmission as a function of a control signal ascertained from the difference value of the measuring elements, so that, by relative movement between the outer and inner drums produced by a change of the liquid level to be measured, the difference value is returned to zero and from the rotation of the measuring shaft the current fill level measured value is ascertained. Sensor electronics is arranged on the measuring shaft within the inner drum, and radial, rotary transformer is embodied on the measuring shaft for transmitting at least the control signals from the sensor electronics to the main electronics and supplying for at least the sensor electronics with energy.

摘要: An apparatus for monitoring a height of liquid in a liquid storage tank is provided, the apparatus includes a first rotatable element rotatable in response to a change of a liquid level in a liquid storage tank and including a first magnetic component having a first magnetic field, and a second rotatable element rotatable in response to the rotation of the first rotatable element and including a second magnetic component having a second magnetic field. The apparatus further includes a sensor assembly which includes a first sensor component located within range of the first magnetic field and structured to be effective in providing a first signal indicative of a position of the first magnetic component, and a second sensor component located within range of the second magnetic field and structured to be effective in providing a second signal indicative of a position of the second magnetic component. The apparatus further includes a data transmitter/microprocessor assembly in electronic communication with the sensor assembly and structured to be effective in receiving the first and second signals from the first and second sensor components, respectively, and processing said first and second signals into data representing a height of liquid in a liquid storage tank.

摘要: An automatic liquid level indicator and alarm system (10) that automatically emits an alarm when liquid in a vessel reaches a preselected low or high level. The system (10) is particularly adaptable for use on petroleum storage tanks (50) of the type found on petroleum tank farms. The system (1) comprises a low-level and a high-level permanent magnet (10) (11); a low-level and a high-level magnetic sensor (24) (25); an encoder-RF transmitter (15) (16); an RF receiver-decoder (18) (19); an alpha-numeric display (20) and an audible alarm (21). The magnets (10) (11) are attached to an existing movable tape (31) whose position at any instant is relative to the position of a float (41) within the tank (50). The magnets (10) (11) are located at positions indicative of the preselected low or high level marks. When either magnet (10) (11) is juxtaposed with its respective sensor (24) (25) a signal is transmitted by the encoder-RF transmitter (15) (16) and is received by the RF receiver-decoder (18) (19) located at a remote monitor station. The signal is displayed on the display (20) and simultaneously the alarm (21) is energized to alert station personnel of the incoming signal.

摘要: The present invention provides a non-contact pulley liquid level sensor, comprising a float capable of floating up and down and floating on a liquid surface, a tether, at least one pulley, a permanent magnet and a magnetic field angle sensor, wherein two ends of the tether are tied to the float, and are wound on the top end pulley and the optional bottom end pulley, the permanent magnet is installed on one side of the top end pulley and rotates together with the top end pulley under the effect of a friction torque produced by the tether. The magnetic field angle sensor detects a magnetic field produced by the permanent magnet and converts a rotation angle of the magnetic field into a voltage signal, then according to a relationship between the rotation angle of the permanent magnet and a floating distance of the float, a liquid level height is calculated via the output voltage signal. A gear can also be used to calibrate the operating range and accuracy of the liquid level sensor. The liquid level sensor has the advantages of simple design, wide measurement range, easiness in sealing and the like.

摘要: Provided is a liquid level detection device with excellent bonding strength between components. This liquid level detection device is provided with a holder which has a magnet inside and which rotates in response to displacement of a float floating in the liquid the level of which is to be measured, a main body unit which rotatably supports the holder and has a magnetic detection element which detects magnetic pole change accompanying rotational movement of the magnet, and a cover which covers the holder and which is attached by welding to the main body unit to prevent the holder from falling away from the main body unit. The cover is welded to the main body unit by melting protrusions formed on the main body unit.

摘要: A method and system for remote monitoring of liquid level 21 within a container 12, such as the level of fuel within a propane cylinder. A magnetic float 20 disposed within the container 12 floats on the liquid 21, and lowers with the liquid level as fuel is consumed. Magnetic sensors 22 outside the container 12 sense the float 20 as it passes in the proximity of one of the sensors 22. A controller 26 receives output signals from the sensors 22 and transmits level indicating signals to a gauge 28 or other indicator for remote indication of the corresponding liquid level. The indicator 28 can be located proximal the user's direct line of sight, to remind the user to periodically monitor the fuel level to prevent running out of fuel.

摘要: A multiturn pulley liquid level sensor device for measuring a liquid level in a well and in a container, comprising a mechanical float which is fastened to a fastening rope and which can slide up and down. The fastening rope is installed on one or more pulleys, and as the float moves up and down, the pulley rotates back and forth. One pulley is mechanically coupled to one digital absolute magnetic rotation encoder device, and the encoder device is used for monitoring the total rotation angle of the pulley in real time. By way of using an algorithm, the total rotation angle of the pulley is converted into a distance from the bottom to calculate the height of a liquid level. A multiwheel encoder has two reading types, i.e., one is an electrical signal reading type, and the other is an optical signal reading type. The electronic output of said encoder may be used as input to an industrial control system, or be sent via communications link to a remote or the internet. The precision of the level measurement is determined by the number of encoder wheels. A mechanical gear or belt can adjust the total number of pulley turns corresponding to the full range of liquid level measurement.
