    摘要: A method for operating a mixing apparatus of a manufacturing plant comprises supplying multiple powdered products to the mixing apparatus. An inlet mass flow rate of the multiple powdered products into the mixing apparatus and a weight of the multiple powdered products in the mixing apparatus are measured. The multiple powdered products in the mixing apparatus are mixed to form a mixed product. The weight of the multiple powdered products in the mixing apparatus and an outlet mass flow rate of the mixed product from the mixing apparatus are predicted based on the measured inlet mass flow of the multiple powdered products. The predicted outlet mass flow rate of the mixed product from the mixing apparatus is corrected based on the measured weight of the multiple powdered products in the mixing apparatus. The mixed product is processed into final products

    摘要: A combination weighing apparatus includes a distribution unit, a plurality of conveying units and a plurality of weighing hoppers. At least one of the conveying units has a trough and a plurality of spiral members. The trough has an inside edge positioned below the distribution unit and an outside edge positioned above the weighing hopper. The spiral members are placed above a bottom surface of the trough with each of the spiral members defining an external peripheral surface. The spiral members are configured and arranged to be rotatably driven to convey the product material supplied from the distribution unit in a vicinity of the inside edge, along the external peripheral surfaces toward a vicinity of the outside edge. The spiral members are configured and arranged to stop movement of the product material on the external peripheral surfaces when the spiral members are not rotatably driven.

    摘要: The invention provides a combination measuring device allows fast measurement without lowering a measurement accuracy. The combination measuring device respectively accommodates objects (101) in a plurality of containers (102), performs combination calculation by measuring weights of the objects accommodated in the containers, discharges and collects the objects selected for an optimum combination from the containers, and thereby obtaining the weighed objects having a target weight. This combination measuring device includes a plurality of measuring units (1, 2, 3 and 4), and a control portion (50). Each of the measuring units (1, 2, 3 and 4) has a measuring portion (21) for measuring the weight of the object accommodated in the container, and a stock portion (22) for stocking the plurality of containers accommodating the weighed objects. The control portion (50) performs the combination calculation by using weight values of all the objects stocked by the stock portion of each of the measuring units, while selecting at most one container from each of the measuring units, and thereby obtaining the optimum combination.

    摘要: A weighing system for making a predetermined weight of a product comprised of individual articles having variable weights by selecting the product stored in a combination of a predetermined number of storage cups. Quantities of the product having targeted weights are distributed to a plurality of scale-controlled hoppers for accurate weighing. The weighed product is fed from each of the scale-controlled hoppers to a plurality of storage cups associted with each of the hopers, and the product weight associated with each storage cup is registered. Specific combinations of storage cups are tested to determine whether the combined product weights therein add to make the desired weight, within acceptable limits. The first combination found to make the weight is used, and the appropriate storage cups are emptied to a container for receiving the product. The appropriate storage cups are refilled from the scale, and the process repeats. When none of the combinations of the preselected number of storage cups include a total product weight within the acceptable limits, the limits are broadened and the cycle repeats. The weighing system includes a programmed microprocessor for controlling operation thereof, for providing the combination to be tested, for calculating the combined weights, and for determining whether the combined weight falls within the acceptable limits. A specific distributor for the product includes a reversing rotating portion for preventing clogging of the product at openings provided for chutes connecting the distributor to the scale-controlled hoppers.
