    摘要: A system and method for measuring length of an electrical power transmission line, and for estimating the average temperature of the line over the measured length. A signal is applied to the line and reflected from a reflection point to obtain a present measure of the line's length. A modified catenary equation uses the length measurement and other variables to estimate average temperature. This temperature measurement can then be used to determine how much power the line is presently capable of safely carrying.

    摘要: A multiple temperature resistance characteristic sensing cable comprised of 1˜6 metal conductors with restorable insulation layer. Each cable contains different temperature resistance characteristic, and is wrapped by 1-2 layers of outer sheath. The metal conductors are wrapped by 1-2 insulation layers and twisted together. These twisted wires are inside the 1-2 layers of outer sheath. The temperature sensor comprises an interface unit, a sensing cable corresponding to temperature resistance characteristics, and a cable terminal unit. The interface unit comprises a signal amplifier and linear circuit, an A/D converter, a microprocessor, a display and operation circuit, a pulse output circuit, and a timer circuit. The temperature sensor realizes the differential temperature, fixed temperature or differential fixed temperature alarm among low, mid and high temperature sections.

    摘要: Disclosed are methods, systems, and computer program products for collecting liquid product volume data at a dispenser. The dispenser can include first and second totalizers that receive signals from a pulser that identifies the flow rate of liquid product dispensed from the dispenser. The dispenser further includes a data acquisition unit communicating with at least the second totalizer, the data acquisition unit receives data indicative of a volume of the liquid product dispensed from the dispenser from the second totalizer. The method can include receiving a plurality of pulses at a first totalizer and a second totalizer within the dispenser. Upon receiving the pulses, the method includes generating data indicative of a volume of liquid product flowing from the dispenser. Following generating the data, the method can include sending the data corresponding to the second totalizer to at least one of a retail system and a central inventory management system.

    摘要: A method for characterizing the parameters of a normally occurring turbine exhaust gas temperature profile is provided. From that characterization the characteristics of a filter function to eliminate or significantly reduce the strength of aliased signals from that normally occurring pattern are established. Sensors to provide filtering functions for that purpose include a distributed gradient thermocouple system and a resistance thermometer system. Examples of such sensor systems are disclosed. The method and related sensors improve the detection limits associated with exhaust gas temperature profiles used to monitor, diagnose, and control gas turbines.
