    摘要: A system (100) and method for determining the air leakage of a space (102) in a building is disclosed. The system (100) comprises a processor (120); a source (130) of compressed air; a pressure sensor (150) configured to measure the pressure of air residing within the space (130) and to provide background pressure signals to the processor (120); a nozzle unit (140) for metering the supply of a pulse of compressed air from the source (130) and for directing the pulse into the space (102) and a source pressure sensor (132) configured to measure a transient pressure during the pulse and to provide a transient pressure signal to the processor (120), wherein the processor (120) is configured to determine the air leakage based on changes in the background pressure signals and from the transient pressure signal. This provides a more reliable and cost effective way of measuring air leakage.

    摘要: An evaporated fuel processing apparatus includes a valve between a canister and a fuel tank, and adsorbs evaporated fuel by the canister during fuel filling, and introduces into an intake air line of an internal combustion engine and processes the evaporated fuel while the internal combustion engine is operating. A diagnostic apparatus includes: a pump for pressurizing a system including the fuel tank and the canister; and a pressure sensor for sensing an internal pressure of the system. The diagnostic apparatus diagnoses whether or not leakage is present, based on a change in the internal pressure of the system from a pressurized state, wherein the pressurized state is a state pressurized to a predetermined pressure for diagnosis that is higher than a tank pressure at start of diagnosis; and maintains the fuel tank in the pressurized state by closing the valve after termination of the diagnosis.

According to the invention, each of the cylinders (2) is provided with a valve (3) having an electronic device (4) including at least one sensor (14) for measuring the pressure (P) inside the cylinder (2), a system (44) for storing/acquiring and processing data and an electromagnetic wave transmitter (34), for example using radio frequency, designed for the remote transmission of at least one of the following items of information: the identity of the cylinder (2) and the pressure (P) measured inside said cylinder. The method includes a transmission step in which all of the cylinders (2) in the batch (1) transmit at least one item of information of the same type when they are in the same phase of the use cycle at the same time and a step in which the same-type items of information transmitted by the cylinders are compared for the automatic detection of an anomaly in the batch (1).

The evaporative emission control system includes a vapor capture canister with a purge valve and a system pressure sensor, and the flat tire repair kit includes a reservoir containing tire inflation fluid, an attachment tube for attaching the reservoir to a tire, and a pump selectively connected to the evaporative emission control system and the reservoir. A controller is configured to perform the following actions: initiate a leak detection sequence by pressurizing the evaporative emission control system, and then performing a leak detection operation by measuring the pressure within the evaporative emission control system over time. A tire pressure monitoring system may be provided, allowing the pump to be switched between performing evaporative system testing and inflating a flat tire.

    摘要: An evaporated fuel processing apparatus includes a valve between a canister and a fuel tank, and maintains the fuel tank in hermetic state by closing the valve while a vehicle is stationary, and adsorbs evaporated fuel by the canister by opening the valve during fuel filling, wherein the evaporated fuel occurs in the fuel tank. A diagnostic apparatus includes: a pump connected to a canister-side region with respect to the valve, and configured to pressurize a system of the canister and the fuel tank; and a pressure sensor for sensing an internal pressure of the system. The diagnostic apparatus starts pressurization by the pump with the valve closed; brings the system into a pressurized state by opening the valve with a delay after the start of pressurization; and performs a leakage diagnosis based on a change in the internal pressure of the system from the pressurized state.
