The image forming apparatus further includes a laser unit, an LED array unit which is located downstream of the laser unit in a moving direction of the photosensitive drum and is disposed inside the photosensitive drum to be able to perform exposure within the development region, and a control unit configured to control the laser unit and the LED array unit such that the LED array unit is able to expose the same area on the photosensitive drum which has been exposed by the laser unit.

    摘要: A color image forming apparatus includes a plurality of chargers each provided in a periphery of an image forming body for charging the image forming body; at least two of a plurality of imagewise exposure devices each equally spaced with respect to the image forming body, for imagewise exposing a charged image forming body to form a latent image; and a plurality of developing devices each provided in the periphery of the image forming body to develop the latent image to form a toner image. During one rotation of the image forming body, a sequence of charging, exposing and developing is repeated to superimpose the toner images, and them the toner images are transferred onto a recording medium at one time, wherein a number of teeth, which corresponds to an interval of the plurality of imagewise exposure means, of a follower gear provided on the image forming body is the same as a number of teeth of a drive gear provided on a main body of the apparatus, or is an integer multiple of the number of teeth of the drive gear.

    摘要: The present invention provides an image display apparatus including an image bearing web in the form of an endless belt on which an erasable image is formed, the image being carried into an image display section for observation. If the image bearing web is photosensitive, it is affected by the light, resulting in the deterioration of the image formed. To avoid this, the length of the image bearing web which is used to form one complete image is made equal to the full length thereof divided by an integer. Therefore, that position on the image bearing web which is used to form an image to be displayed is not changed for each display to limit the portions of the photosensitive web exposed to light to predetermined areas, thereby avoiding the occurrence of the difference in image quality within each of the predetermined areas.

An image forming unit forms an image including the given image and the translation word obtained by the translating unit so that the word obtained by the translating unit accompanies the word extracted by the extracting unit.

    摘要: Half-tone xerography involving high speed charging of a limited region of an electrophotographic member and subsequent high speed discharging as by writing with a fine laser beam upon the limited region of the electrophotographic member, the beam being modulated with recordable intelligence from stored digital data. The member is mounted for rotary and axial movement relative to both charging unit and an axial movement beam directing unit. The member support for the member holds the member in a cylindrical or partially cylindrical form with the photoconductive coating inside. The member as a unit and a charging device and writing device as a unit are mounted for relative axial and rotating movement at high speed to enable charging and imaging of the limited regions in a continuous progressive manner.
