    摘要: Method and apparatus for accurately positioning a blank angular position transducer element for boring at its center. A relatively high frequency carrier signal is applied to the blank transducer element to be bored and is thereby induced in a master rotor element which is rotated at a constant speed in an operative relationship with the blank. The rotor is made deliberately eccentric with respect to its axis of rotation, and the induced signal contains a carrier signal, a component indicative of relative angular position, and a once-per-revolution eccentricity error component, if the blank element is also eccentric with respect to the axis of rotation. Error detection circuitry isolates the once-per-revolution eccentricity error component, and resolution circuitry resolves it into x and y directions for application to error display devices, or to actuators connected to move the blank transducer element automatically until the x and y components are both zero. The blank element can then be bored by a tool movable along and rotable about the axis of rotation.

    摘要: A servoamplifier, of the type accepting a DC input signal and controlling a two-phase AC servomotor therewith, is characterized by a transformerless control circuit capable of obviating errors due to AC line noise and common mode noise. An input circuit, formed by two choppers operated 180* out of phase with each other, converts the DC input signal into two AC signals which are applied to two inputs of a differential-input voltage amplifier which combines the signal into an amplified output signal. This signal is amplified again by a power amplifier and is applied to the control coil of the AC servomotor for driving the servomotor. Means are provided for referring to a common potential the signals existing in the input circuit, the voltage amplifier, the power amplifier, and the control coil of the servomotor, which effectively eliminates, without the use of an isolating transformer, noise signals causing misoperation of the servomotor. In further aspects, the servoamplifier dispenses with the need for a power capacitor by employing a phase shifting circuit to operate the choppers, and prevents a hazardous reflection of energy from an AC power source into the control circuit by driving the servomotor through a power transformer.

    摘要: Unidirectional feedback around a servoamplifier clamps the gain of the amplifier when the position feedback potential indicates the approaching of a stop. The clamping is in response to an amplifier output potential of a polarity that drives the servoed device into the stop, and is inoperative when the amplifier is of a polarity to drive the servoed device away from the stop. Full gain is therefore available when driving away from the stop. Increased accuracy is achieved, eliminating all position loop errors, by utilizing position feedback potential as a summing potential to control the operation of the clamping loop.

    摘要: A squirrel-cage motor of the ferroresonant type, having two pairs of stator windings in series with respective tuning condensers energized in parallel from a source of alternating current, is provided with a feedback winding on each stator pole designed to aid or to oppose an applied control signal, all the feedback windings being connected in series across two branches of a phase-discriminating network extending from a common terminal to symmetrical taps on two parallel stator windings. Each branch includes a resistor in series with a diode, the two diodes being oppositely poled so that a voltage difference is generated across the feedback circuit upon a relative phase shift of the currents traversing the two pairs of stator windings. The common terminal is energized by an AC voltage in step with the supply voltage through a transformer or a resistive voltage divider.
