    摘要: Systems and methods for compressing high-frequency signals are described in certain embodiments herein. According to certain embodiments, a high-frequency signal can be converted into a lower frequency signal so that it can be processed by one or more devices in a lower frequency infrastructure. In certain embodiments, the high-frequency signal can be compressed by certain signal conditioning components and an algorithm executed by a computer processor to at least receive a high-frequency signal, correct the high-frequency signal, determine a number of samples to be taken from the high-frequency signal (i.e., sample the high-frequency signal), store a value associated with the sampled signal, and generate a waveform that includes lower frequency content that may represent the original, high-frequency signal.

A memory key is included within the scale functions to transfer information to the memory. Final measurement results are derived through calculations of the measurement information stored in the memory with the subsequent measurement information.

    摘要: A length measuring apparatus which is capable of calculating an actual distance by measuring length on a map and which has a display section to display the actual distance thus calculated. The length measuring apparatus includes a distance-data input switch for inputting a distance-index data of a scale-reduction scale indicated on the map and a memory for storing length of the scale-reduction scale on the map, which is measured by the rotation of a rolling member. The length measuring apparatus automatically calculated a scale-reduction value for the map from the distance-index data and the length of the scale-reduction scale stored in the memory. Accordingly, a user of the apparatus is not required to input the scale-reduction value for the map by means of keys.

    摘要: A gage block case includes a plurality of gage blocks mounted within the case, each gage block having opposed gage surfaces with a nominal dimension therebetween and a known deviation from the nominal dimension. Sensors associated with each gage block sense the removal of each gage block from the case. A signal generator provides a distinct signal corresponding to which gage block is removed from the case. A memory stores the known deviation of each gage block within the case. A control unit responsive to the signal generator addresses and retrieves from the memory the known deviation for each gage block which is removed from the case, combines the known deviation with the deviations of previously removed gage blocks and outputs the total deviation to a display device. In a second embodiment, the control unit selects and indicates which gage blocks are to be removed from the case to form a specified stack height input to the control unit.

    摘要: An extensible tape member is provided for measuring a voluntary angle or for measuring length of an object. The extensible tape member may be pulled out of the housing of an electronic combined protractor and calculator in measuring either angle or length. A rotatory reel which accomodates and stores the extensible tape member therein is rotated in unison with the extension of the extensible tape member from its housing. A photo sensor is provided for detecting rotation of the rotatory reel and for providing counting signals corresponding to the rotation. One of two indexes is arranged on a frame of the rotatory reel while the other of the indexes is positioned on the lower half of the housing of the electronic combined protractor and calculator. When measuring angle, the two indexes should be attached to two lines defining the angle to be measured, respectively. One of the indexes is rotatably driven along with the extension of the extensible tape member, whereby the rotatory reel is rotated in accordance with a degree of the angle to be measured. The counting signals are introduced into a control circuit to determine the degree of the angle. When measuring the length, the extensible tape member is adjusted in length to correspond to the length of the object to be measured while extending out of the housing. The rotation of the rotatory reel is utilized for determining the length of the object in almost the same manner as for the angular measurement.
