    摘要: There is provided a fingerprint sensing module comprising a fingerprint sensor device having a sensing array arranged on a first side of the device. The fingerprint sensor device also comprises connection pads for connecting the fingerprint sensor device to external circuitry and a fingerprint sensor device cover structure, the cover structure having a first side configured to be touched by a finger, and a second side facing the sensing array, wherein the cover structure comprises conductive traces, arranged on the second side, for electrically connecting the fingerprint sensor module to external circuitry, and wherein a surface area of the cover structure is larger than a surface area of the sensor device. Moreover, the fingerprint sensor device comprises wire-bonds electrically connecting the connection pads of the fingerprint sensing device to the conductive traces of the cover structure.

To make the data carrier very difficult to forge and to enable that it can be manufactured with ordinary machines and without need of expensive materials, the opaque layer comprises a window a first piece of authentication data of said authentication data being divided between said plurality of layers so that the first piece of authentication data is to at least one part thereof, provided above or on the first side of the opaque layer facing the upper layer, at least a rest part of the first piece of authentication data being in the form of laser engraved markings beneath the window and provided in the recording layer, or in a plurality of transparent recording layers of said plurality of layers.

Also disclosed is an electronic card including a biometric sensor manufactured by this method.

In particular, the security marker may include a forensic marker component having a specific combination of predetermined characteristics that directly corresponds to data provided in a database and a validation marker component having a specific combination of separate and distinct predetermined characteristics that are independent of the forensic marker component and which also correspond to the same data provided in the database as the forensic marker component. Thus, the validation marker component may advantageously provide independent means for validating results obtained using the forensic marker component. In this way, the redundancy provided by the second validation marker component may improve the accuracy/reliability of the marker and/or the resiliency of the marker (for example, in the case of degradation of the forensic marker component).
