摘要: There is provided a fingerprint sensing module comprising a fingerprint sensor device having a sensing array arranged on a first side of the device. The fingerprint sensor device also comprises connection pads for connecting the fingerprint sensor device to external circuitry and a fingerprint sensor device cover structure, the cover structure having a first side configured to be touched by a finger, and a second side facing the sensing array, wherein the cover structure comprises conductive traces, arranged on the second side, for electrically connecting the fingerprint sensor module to external circuitry, and wherein a surface area of the cover structure is larger than a surface area of the sensor device. Moreover, the fingerprint sensor device comprises wire-bonds electrically connecting the connection pads of the fingerprint sensing device to the conductive traces of the cover structure.

摘要: The present invention relates to a data carrier, especially a security document, such as an identification card, comprising authentication data comprising personalized data, the data carrier comprising a first side and a second opposite side, and a plurality of layers comprising personalized data, a transparent recording layer, a transparent plastic upper layer and an opaque layer between the recording layer and the upper layer. To make the data carrier very difficult to forge and to enable that it can be manufactured with ordinary machines and without need of expensive materials, the opaque layer comprises a window a first piece of authentication data of said authentication data being divided between said plurality of layers so that the first piece of authentication data is to at least one part thereof, provided above or on the first side of the opaque layer facing the upper layer, at least a rest part of the first piece of authentication data being in the form of laser engraved markings beneath the window and provided in the recording layer, or in a plurality of transparent recording layers of said plurality of layers.

摘要: This invention is a comprehensive “Dynamic Security Code” (“DSC”) System (“DSC System”) that can change the security code of a prepaid, debit, or credit card (“Payment Card”). In an effort to thwart Card-Not-Present (“CNP”) fraud, the DSC System provides dynamic security code values (“DSC Values”) that have a limited use. The DSC Values provided by this DSC System can be calculated by various methodologies and can be used within existing standard payment card infrastructures. The DSC System can also be used with other form factors and in other environments not related to payments such as balance inquiries. The DSC Values can be calculated by a DSC Generator Server or on the card itself.

摘要: A method of integrating a mark in a document. A frame to be printed is selected. At least one color of the selected frame is selected. A color density for each selected color for the selected frame is determined. A digital code is selected for each selected color. After printing, the digital code includes the density of the color. and is integrated into the frame of the corresponding color. The frame including the digital code is printed. Preferably, the digital code is a digital anti-copy mark designed to form, following the printing step, a printed anti-copy mark with an error rate of more than five per cent.

摘要: The present application relates to overcoming some of the physical problems associated with putting a biometric sensor into the body of an electronic card, such as a smart card. A disclosed method of manufacturing an electronic card including a biometric sensor may include providing a preformed card body including a circuit having contacts for connection to a biometric sensor, the contacts being embedded within the preformed card body, removing material from the preformed card body to form a cavity in the preformed card body to expose the contacts, coating walls of the cavity with an adhesive epoxy, and connecting a biometric sensor to the contacts using an conductive epoxy. Also disclosed is an electronic card including a biometric sensor manufactured by this method.

摘要: The present invention relates to particulate based compositions for deposition on substrates, a system and method for the deposition of the said compositions for preparation of a clone-proof monetary and/or security documents. The said composition is applied as an identifier at predetermined location on the substrate. The magneto-optical signal from the said applied composition is captured by the reading system. Further it is encrypted same as an invisible or visible two dimensional (2D) barcode/image on the substrate as an associated identifier so as to create a dedicated, non repeatable and unique functional digitized relation between two said identifiers and/or any other identifier(s) linked to a specific object.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods which utilize a security marker featuring redundancy. In particular, the security marker may include a forensic marker component having a specific combination of predetermined characteristics that directly corresponds to data provided in a database and a validation marker component having a specific combination of separate and distinct predetermined characteristics that are independent of the forensic marker component and which also correspond to the same data provided in the database as the forensic marker component. Thus, the validation marker component may advantageously provide independent means for validating results obtained using the forensic marker component. In this way, the redundancy provided by the second validation marker component may improve the accuracy/reliability of the marker and/or the resiliency of the marker (for example, in the case of degradation of the forensic marker component).
