摘要: A method for sending a notification indicating fraud using a transaction authorization channel is described. Upon performing a fraud analysis on a first transaction previously authorized by an issuer of an account via the transaction authorization channel, a determination that the first transaction has indications of fraud is performed. In response to determining that the first transaction has indications of fraud, a transaction authorization request message for a second transaction is generated to include a billing descriptor field with data representing a notification of fraud on the account. The transaction authorization request message for the second transaction is sent, via the transaction authorization channel, to an electronic device associated with the issuer of the account so that it will modify the account to include a transaction entry for the second transaction that will be recognized as a fraud notification when an account holder of the account views pending transactions.

摘要: A purchase management system includes a central database arrangement, a customer interface, and a bank specific database module that communicates with a transaction authorization module within a bank. The central database arrangement is arranged to receive, from a purchasing entity through the customer interface, purchasing rules applying to a purchasing group, and includes central processing means arranged to: add a selected purchasing group as metadata linked to a first transaction ID in the central database arrangement; add the purchasing rules applying to said purchasing group as metadata linked to the first transaction ID in the central database arrangement; and transfer metadata linked to the first transaction ID to the bank specific database module. The bank specific database module is arranged to receive a purchase approval request from the transaction authorization module, which purchase approval request comprises transaction information, including at least the purchase amount, linked to the first transaction ID.

摘要: A method for processing card not present (CNP) transactions includes: receiving an authentication transaction request including authentication transaction data associated with a CNP transaction, receiving an authorization transaction request including authorization transaction data associated with the CNP transaction; in response to receiving the authorization transaction data and the authentication transaction data, determining an authorization decision for the CNP transaction; and communicating the authorization decision. Systems for processing CNP transactions are also disclosed.

摘要: Techniques for displaying a stage-specific pipeline view with a prediction engine are disclosed. A system displays a plurality of regions representing various stages of completion for a plurality of transactions. The system determines a stage of completion for each of the plurality of transactions at a first point-in-time, and generates and displays visualizations representing each of the plurality of transactions in one of the plurality of regions based on the respective current stage of completion. Generating a visualization representing a first transaction includes determining a likelihood of the first transaction completing a stage associated with the first transaction. The likelihood may be determined by selecting attributes associated with the first transaction and identifying prior transactions with similar attributes. The system may compute the likelihood of the first transaction completing the stage based on completion rates associated with the prior transactions, and select the visualization based on the computed likelihood.

摘要: A secondary authentication system and computer-implemented method for obtaining real-time cardholder authentication of a payment transaction associated with a cardholder's payment card includes a memory device for storing data and a processor communicatively coupled to the memory device. The processor is programmed to receive a payment authorization request message including a primary account number corresponding to a payment account of the cardholder for funding the payment transaction. In addition, the processor is programmed to determine whether the payment account requires secondary authentication by the cardholder for the payment transaction, and if, based on the determination, the payment account requires secondary authentication of the payment transaction, place the payment transaction on hold. Furthermore, the processor is programed to identify a mobile device associated with the payment account of the cardholder, transmit an authentication request message to the identified mobile device, and receive, from the mobile device, an authentication response message.

摘要: A computer-implemented method and apparatus are provided to reduce false fraudulent declines of transactions. Payment processor (PP) systems may be provided with a request acceptor and a replacement transaction generator. The request acceptor receives a notification of a decline of a first transaction attempted by a cardholder with a merchant, for allegedly fraudulent, and a request to determine whether the first transaction was falsely identified as fraudulent, and if so, to remedy the first transaction. The replacement transaction generator generates, in response to a determination that the first transaction was falsely identified as fraudulent, and the merchant is a false fraudulent reduction partner merchant, a replacement second transaction to replace the declined first transaction. The replacement second transaction may include a bypass authorization code, and made available to the cardholder to use to transact with the merchant bypassing the declined first transaction.
