    摘要: A radio frequency automated meter reading (AMR) device for determining quantities of a consumed utility product including electric, gas and water service. The present invention intermittently transmits utility product consumption as a modulated RF signal, and does not require complex polling and bi-directional communication. Data is obtained and formatted for transmission and is adapted to be received by a remote receiving device having an RF receiver. The present invention is adaptable to water meters, gas meters and electric meters, and has an IR programming module facilitating remote programming and diagnostic procedures. In the case of water and gas meters, an internal lithium battery provides an operational life of up to ten years. In the case of the electric meter, power is tapped directly from the electric service.

    摘要: A radio transmitter is operatively arranged to develop and broadcast a coded signal which may be used to effect remote control functions, for example, to control door opening mechanism. The transmitter includes a radio frequency oscillator having a coil which constitutes the radiating element. The radio frequency oscillator is modulated by a first low frequency oscillator, which is frequency modulated by output from a second low frequency oscillator, both low frequency oscillators being controlled by a timer which turns the low frequency oscillators ON for about one second and holds them OFF for about thirty seconds. The low frequency oscillators and the timer are realized by a commercially available, integrated CMOS circuit.

    摘要: A tone signal decoder in a remote control device which uses one tone signal to feed information. The tone signal decoder comprises a charge and discharge circuit having a capacitor to control the latter by application of said tone signal thereto, a bypass circuit for charging or discharging said capacitor, when said tone signal is not applied, within the time shorter than the charge or discharge time by said charge and discharge circuit, and a threshold circuit actuated when said capacitor reaches a threshold level. Immediately when said tone signal is interrupted by said bypass circuit, said capacitor is brought into an initial set state to prevent malfunction with respect to the other tone signal fed by the same carrier.
