    摘要: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for maintaining a temperature of an audio device during playback of audio content without audio interference. An embodiment operates by receiving a data stream comprising audio content for playback. The audio device determines a volume level of the audio content using the data stream. The audio device then controls a cooling device based on the volume level compared to a threshold value. This reduces the amount of time the cooling device is turned on during playback of the audio content. This reduces audio interference, improves the user playback experience, and prevents overheating of the audio device which improves reliability and reduces audio device failure rate.

    摘要: Formatting disk drive data using format field elements (FFEs). A processing module (which can be a general purpose processor or a RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computer) processor) is employed to generate FFEs that are employed to govern operation of the various data formatting modules within a formatting system within a HDD. The determination of when a data formatting module stops operating in accordance with a first FFE and begins operating in accordance with a second FFE can be a predetermined period of time, a number of operations being performed, the meeting of some condition, or some other means. Each FFE can be viewed as being a multi-dimensional instruction that not only includes a configuration for a data formatting module, but also includes the conditions by which the configuration is to be governed by a subsequent FFE, among other things.

    摘要: According to the described techniques, apparatus and systems, a multimedia data processing device can include an input unit to receive media data from input devices. A data compression and information generating unit can compress the received media data and generate information based on the received media data. A buffer can temporarily store the compressed media data and generated information received from the data compression and information generating unit as a packet that includes a data packet and an information packet; output the temporarily stored media data packet and the information packet to be stored in an external storage device; and store a file offset that identifies a location of the information packet stored in the external storage device. A file format generating unit can generate a media data file format based on the information packet stored in the external storage device identified by the file offset stored in the buffer.

When player setting 500 denotes that audio is an original language and subtitle Japanese and streams 501 contained in a disc are an audio stream of Japanese (original language), an audio stream of English, a subtitle stream of English, and a subtitle stream of Japanese, the audio stream of Japanese as the original language and the subtitle stream of Japanese are selected according to the automatic setting. Since their languages match, although streams 502 finally selected are the audio stream of Japanese and the subtitle stream of Japanese, the subtitle stream of Japanese is not displayed.
