    摘要: Insulating materials disposed within the housing are protected through the use of removable protective layers, which can be fit over the insulating components. In some embodiments, these removable protective layers are dimensioned so as to fit over the insulating components without the use of any fasteners. In other embodiments, a fastener, such as a set screw or clip, may be used to hold the removable protective layer in place. These removable protective layers can be placed over any insulating component in a housing, such as a high voltage feed through insulator. During preventative maintenance cycles, the coated removable protective layer is removed from the insulating component, and a new protective layer is used to cover the insulating component.

The plurality of electrically conductive coils is disposed in the housing and in contact with the transformer oil. The aliphatic polyamide insulation material includes stabilizing compounds and nano-fillers. The stabilizing compounds provide thermal and chemical stability for the insulation material.

    摘要: An electrically insulated conductor for carrying signals or current includes a solid or stranded copper core of various geometries with only a single electrically insulating and thermally conductive layer of anodized aluminum (aluminum oxide). The device is made by forming a uniform thickness thin sheet or foil of aluminum to envelop the copper or copper alloy core. The aluminum has its outer surface partially anodized either before or after forming to the core in an electrolytic process to form a single layer of aluminum oxide.

    摘要: An insulated conducting wire (ICW) having an inorganic cladding and a microwire positioned within the cladding. The outer diameter of the microwire is less then the inner diameter of the cladding, and the insulated conducting wire is substantially free of bonding between the microwire and the cladding. A process of making a wire, having the steps of: drawing an inorganic tube through a heating zone such that the inner diameter of the tube is reduced; inserting a microwire into the tube whereby the tube becomes a cladding; and adjusting the draw process parameters such that the inner diameter of the cladding is larger than the outer diameter of the microwire, and the microwire and the cladding are not in contact with each other under thermal conditions that would cause bonding between the microwire and the cladding.

    摘要: A heat and oxidation resistant electrically conductive composite conductor has a core (1) made of copper or a copper alloy, an electrically conductive ceramics layer (2) around the core (1), and a nickel layer (3) on the exterior of the electrically conductive ceramics layer (2). Such a conductor is produced by coating the outer surface of the core copper alloy binder and covering the coated core with a nickel tape under an atmosphere of an inert gas or a reducing gas, welding the seam of the tape, clading the so formed conductor by a cladding die, and drawing the clad conductor. The composite conductor has a high conductivity which is not reduced even when the conductor is exposed to a high temperature operating condition.

    摘要: An electrical insulating coating layer having excellent adhesion, toughness and heat resistance is formed on a surface of a copper material by anodizing the copper material under a low current in an acid bath of a hexacyanoiron complex. Copper materials such as coil wires can hence be provided with a thin, heat-resistant, electrical insulating layer, whereby the values of the copper materials can be heightened.
