    摘要： An EMI filtered terminal assembly including at least one conductive terminal pin, a feedthrough capacitor, and a counter-bore associated with a passageway through the capacitor is described. Preferably, the feedthrough capacitor having counter-drilled or counter-bored holes on its top side is first bonded to a hermetic insulator. The counter-drilled or counter-bore holes in the capacitor provide greater volume for the electro-mechanical attachment between the capacitor and the terminal pin or lead wire, permitting robotic dispensing of, for example, thermal-setting conductive adhesive.

    摘要： A variable capacitor includes: a dielectric sheet disposed on a substrate and covering an electrode pattern on the substrate; a resilient conductive supporting seat mounted on the dielectric sheet for supporting an insulating operating cap on a central portion thereof; a conductive cover body covering the conductive supporting seat and permitting the operating cap to extend outward; and a biasing member for biasing the central portion of the conductive supporting seat to move away from the substrate. The cover body is connected electrically to the conductive supporting seat and a conductive contact on the substrate. When the operating cap is depressed, the operating cap forces a contact portion of the conductive supporting seat to deform such that a surface area of the deformed contact portion that contacts the dielectric sheet is increased, thereby changing the capacitance between the conductive supporting seat and the electrode pattern.

    摘要： A capacitor provides a plurality of selectable capacitance values, by selective connection of six capacitor sections of a capacitive element each having a capacitance value. The capacitor sections are provided in a plurality of wound cylindrical capacitive elements. Two vertically stacked wound cylindrical capacitance elements may each provide three capacitor sections. There may be six separately wound cylindrical capacitive elements each providing a capacitor section. The capacitor sections have a common element terminal. A pressure interrupter cover assembly is sealingly secured to the open end of case for the elements and has a deformable cover with a centrally mounted common cover terminal and a plurality of section cover terminals mounted at spaced apart locations. A conductor frangibly connects the common element terminal of the capacitor section to the common cover terminal and conductors respectively frangibly connect the capacitor section terminals to the section cover terminals. Deformation of the cover caused by failure of the capacitor element breaks at least some of the frangible connections sufficient to disconnect the capacitive element from an electric circuit in which it is connected. A cover insulation barrier mounted on the deformable cover, has a barrier cup substantially surrounding the common cover terminal and a plurality of barrier fins each extending radially outwardly from the barrier cup, and deployed between adjacent section cover terminals.

The clip has a labyrinthine configuration which provides a secure grip on the substrate through extended length contact therewith.
