    摘要: A fuse tap for a blade fuse is disclosed which includes a tap flange to which a blade of the blade fuse is received. The blade is retained within the opening by a plurality of teeth which exert a clamping force on opposite sides of the blade. A locking element is formed on the tap to lock the tap onto the blade fuse. A crimp connector is formed on one end of the tap which is adapted to be secured to a wire by crimping. The fuse tap is formed as a unitary one-piece body formed by bending a single blank of metal to provide the crimp connector on one end and the tap flange formed at the other end which includes an opening for receiving the blade of the blade fuse.

The inventive device includes a fuse body having blade terminals projecting therefrom and electrically coupled together by a first fuse link. A blade connector is pivotally mounted to the fuse body and received for storage within a longitudinal channel of the body. A second fuse link electrically couples the blade connector to one of the blade terminals, whereby the blade connector can be selectively pivoted from the fuse body to effect connection of an accessory tap connector into the associated circuit.

    摘要: An accessory fuse connector is provided that attaches to a fuse housing and provides electrical communication between the fuse and the original vehicle circuitry. Attachment legs secure the connector to the fuse housing and function to position an elongated contact arm over an exposed part of the fuse circuitry. The arm has an end tab and/or projection that contacts the exposed part so that current may be transmitted back through the arm and connector to an accessory connector tab. The desired accessory can then be operated by wiring it to the connector tab. When the connector is used in association with a blade or plastic sheathed fuse, a nonconductive spacer is attached to the connector body to enhance attachment and prevent a short circuit.

    摘要: A power circuit interrupting device including a first housing including a pair of fixed electrodes and a fuse having terminals at both ends thereof, and a second housing including a moveable electrode, the moveable electrode interrupting electrical connection between the fixed electrodes when the second housing is uncoupled from the first housing, and establishing the electrical connection between the fixed electrodes when the second housing is coupled with the first housing. The first housing has an opening provided for carrying out a continuity test for the fuse. The opening is always covered with the second housing in a condition that continuity of a circuit is allowed. The power circuit interrupting device serves to facilitate the continuity test for the fuse built therein and comply with such a maintenance procedure that the continuity test should be carried out after interrupting continuity of the power circuit.
