    摘要: A keyboard dome stiffener assembly includes a circuit board having a plurality of dome pads that each defines a venting aperture, a dome sheet disposed over the circuit board, and a stiffener disposed beneath the circuit board that defines a plurality of cutouts corresponding to each venting aperture. The dome pads correspond to a key of an associated keyboard to be assembled with the keyboard dome stiffener assembly. The dome sheet forms an air space associated with each dome pad that is in fluid communication with the corresponding venting aperture. The cutouts of the stiffener provide an air cavity between the circuit board and the stiffener. Each air cavity is in fluid communication with an air space, and when one of the keyboard keys is depressed, some of the air in the air space travels between the air space of the keyboard to the corresponding air cavity.

    摘要: A key structure with reduced resonant noise includes a base plate formed with a first supporting portion and a second supporting portion, a conductive film layer, an elastic conducting element, a linking rod, and a keycap on the linking rod. The linking rod has a main portion, a first arm extended from one end of the main portion and pivotally connected to the first supporting portion, and a second arm extended from the other end of the main portion and pivotally connected to the second supporting portion. The key cap has a bottom surface pivotally connected to the main portion of the linking rod. The base plate has openings under the linking rod and adjacent to the first supporting portion and the second supporting portion. The openings can reduce resonant effect of clapping sound in the keycap, when the keycap is pressed.

    摘要: A switch mechanism has improved switch button durability and operational feeling. Constitution and assembly are simplified. A switch mechanism includes a wiring board having first and second electrodes; a switch button; a conductor arranged at a position that corresponds to the first and second electrodes; and a supporting plate, arranged such that the conductor is disposed between the wiring board and the supporting plate and provided with a protruding section at a position that corresponds to the switch button. When the switch button is not depressed, the conductor contacts only the second electrode without contacting the first electrode. When the switch button is depressed, the conductor contacts the first electrode by being supported by the protruding section, the first electrode and the second electrode are electrically connected by the conductor, and the protruding section is displaced in a direction the switch button is depressed, with depressing of the switch button.
