Abstract:
A runway light control including a relay switch for connecting to a common conductor and a push-to-talk conductor of the aircraft communications system. The control includes a microcontroller connected to the relay switch and an intensity selector assembly connected to the microcontroller. The selector assembly has first, second, and third intensity selectors. The microcontroller is programmed to intermittently close the relay switch a first preselected number of times when the first intensity selector is actuated to signal the automated variable intensity runway light control station to select a first runway light intensity at the airport. The microcontroller is programmed to close the relay switch a second number of times when the second selector is actuated to select a second runway light intensity. The microcontroller is programmed to close the relay switch a third number of times when the third selector is actuated to select a third runway light intensity.
Abstract:
A cord dimmer switch includes a main body, a power cord and a rotating part. The main body includes a circuit device installed in the main body, a through hole formed at the top of the main body, and a rectangular notch formed on a corresponsive adjacent side of the main body. The power cord is connected to both ends of the main body for supplying power to the circuit device and a lamp, and the circuit device has a dimming column. The rotating part is connected to the dimming column to drive the dimming column to rotate synchronously. The rotating part includes a turntable corresponsive to the rectangular notch and a knob corresponsive to the through hole, a part of the periphery of the turntable is protruded out from the rectangular notch, and the top edge of the knob is protruded out from the through hole.
Abstract:
A small form-factor input device operative to be coupled to an electronic device using a cable may include a circuit board; a first electrical switch disposed on a first side of the circuit board; a second electrical switch disposed on a second side of the circuit board; a frame defining a periphery, wherein the circuit board is maintained within the periphery of the frame; first and second shells that house the circuit board, the first shell placed over the first side of the circuit board, and the second shell placed over the second side of the circuit board; and at least one clip coupled to each one of the first shell and the second shell, wherein the at least one clip is operative to engage the frame.
Abstract:
Accessories such as headsets for electronic devices are provided. A headset may be provided with a button controller assembly that has user-actuated buttons and a microphone. The microphone may be formed by mounting a microphone transducer on a printed circuit board. A housing may be mounted over the transducer to form a sealed cavity for the transducer. Circuitry may be mounted on portions of the printed circuit board that extend beyond the edges of the microphone housing. The button controller assembly may have dome switches. The dome switches may have a housing that encloses dome switch components and that forms a structural internal part for the button controller. The dome switch housing structure may have tabs or other engagement features that mate with corresponding engagement features in a button member. The button member may be pressed by a user to actuate a desired dome switch.

Abstract:
A waterproof switch structure includes a circuit control device and a waterproof casing. The circuit control device includes a clip member, a power cord, a controller, and a circuit breaker. The waterproof casing is used to cover the controller and the circuit breaker. The waterproof casing includes an upper lid and a lower lid. The screw is screwed to the upper and lower posts to lock the upper and lower lids. The upper and lower notches of the upper and lower lids clip the power cord. The engaging grooves and the engaging ribs engage with each other. The engaging recess of the resilient cap engages with the engaging ring. The resilient cap is pressed to control operation of the press switch.
Abstract:
An electrical actuator system, especially for adjustable articles of furniture, comprising at least one electric actuator for bringing about the adjustment, a mains based power supply and possibly also rechargeable batteries, a control unit and a hand (10) control with at least one key (17) of a transparent material and/or an area of transparent material surrounding the key. Inside the hand control (10) is a light source located in connection with the transparent material (16). A control of the light source is embodied so that the light source always emits a basic lighting and by touch, movement or activation of a key, the light source is brought to emit an actual operating lighting of the keys.
Abstract:
A deformable controller for an electronic device, such as a portable electronic device, is disclosed. A user can interact with the controller to cause it to “deform” and thereby provide user input to control the electronic device. The controller can be malleable and symmetrical, and user interaction with the controller can be provided with substantially arbitrary orientation. In one embodiment, the controller is an in-line controller with a cable that couples to the electronic device. In one particular implementation, the portable electronic device can be a portable media player and the controller can remotely control media playback functions for the portable media player.
Abstract:
Headsets are provided with integrated switch assemblies. An integrated switch assembly can include a switch hidden from view by a housing. The switch can be activated when a user applies pressure to the housing. The housing may include a flexible housing cover that, when depressed, may engage the switch contained within the housing. When engaged, the switch may move or snap to a switch activation position within the housing.
Abstract:
A multi-directional switch includes a switch module, including a generally rectangular base, and an actuator vertically installed into a central receiving chamber defined in the base, the actuator can tilt away from a vertical axis to close one of four corners of the base, and a manual handle mated with the switch module, defining a central hollow being open toward the actuator for fittingly receiving the actuator therein, so as to permit synchronously swinging movement of the manual handle and the actuator. For preventing the manual handle, together with the actuator, synchronously swinging toward one of four corners, after the actuator is fittingly received in the central hollow of the manual handle, at least a rib is formed at a top surface of the base for abutting against a bottom surface of the manual handle, or formed at a bottom surface of the manual handle for abutting against a top surface of the base.
