    摘要: High voltage high current regulator circuit for regulating current is interposed between first and second terminals connected to an external circuit and comprises at least one main-current carrying cold-cathode field emission electron tube conducting current between the first and second terminals. First and second grid-control cold-cathode field emission electron tubes provide control signals for first and second grids of the at least one main-current carrying cold-cathode field emission electron tube for positive and negative excursions of voltage on the first and second terminals, respectively. The current regulator circuit may be accompanied by a voltage-clamping circuit that includes at least one cold-cathode field emission electron tube. At least two cold-cathode field emission electron tubes, configured to operate at high voltage and high current, are preferably contained within a single vacuum enclosure and are interconnected to provide a circuit function, so as to form a high voltage high current vacuum integrated circuit.

    摘要: An electromagnetic-wave shielding and light transmitting plate 1 comprising an antireflection film 3, an electromagnetic-wave shielding film 10, a transparent substrate 2, and a near-infrared ray blocking film 5, wherein they are laminated and united by using intermediate adhesive layers 4A, 4B and a pressure-sensitive adhesive 4C, and the peripheries thereof are covered by a conductive sticky tape 7. The electromagnetic-wave shielding film 10 has a conductive foil 11 formed by pattern etching on a substrate film 13, is processed to have antireflection function by forming a light absorbing layer 12 on the conductive foil 11, and is subjected to a matting process to form small irregularities by roughening the surface of the light absorbing layer 12. A display panel is manufactured by bonding this electromagnetic-wave shielding film 10 to the front surface of a plasma display panel body. Accordingly, an electromagnetic-wave shielding and light transmitting plate and a display panel can be obtained which not only have excellent electromagnetic-wave shielding function but also provide high antireflection effect and have high level of transparency and high level of visibility, thereby providing distinct images.

    摘要: An all-weather lamp includes a standard fluorescent lamp and a protective assembly having a protective tube that is preformed from a semi-rigid, non-frangible polymeric transparent or translucent material that is stabilized against ultraviolet radiation and is received over the glass tube with its inner surface substantially uniformly spaced apart from the outer surface of the glass tube to form an air space for insulation of the lamp. The desired uniform spacing between the lamp tube and the protective tube is established by a spacer ring located adjacent each end of the glass tube and adhesively bonded to the glass tube. The protective tube is securely joined to the lamp by a shrink-fitted collar at each end of the lamp that overlaps and is adhesively joined to the protective tube and the lamp terminal cap. A multiplicity of vent holes in portions of the protective tube proximate to the terminal caps of the lamp allow ventilation of the air space between the glass tube and the protective tube. The vent holes are of a size such that if the lamp breaks fragments of the glass tube cannot pass through the holes. There is a sufficient number of holes to enable the lamp to operate without substantial discoloration and without a substantial reduction in light output at ambient temperatures in the range of from about 50.degree. F. to about -30.degree. F.
