    摘要: When a deflection yoke is provided by winding horizontal deflection coils so that right and left ends of its bend portion on a screen face side protrude farther toward the screen face side than the center of the bend portion does, works for attaching vertical deflection coils and a core to an insulating frame can be carried out stably. The insulating frame is resin-molded so that an opening on the screen face side is shaped along the bend portion on the screen face side of a pair of upper and lower horizontal deflection coils. Protrusions (convexes) are provided at four positions between right/left portion “A” in a X-axis (horizontal axis) direction and top/bottom portion “B” in a Y-axis (vertical axis) direction of a periphery of the opening on the screen face side of the insulating frame.

    摘要: A method and a related apparatus are described for forming gaps into a saddle-shaped deflection coil subsequent to a winding process. The method includes winding a conductive wire into a saddle-shaped deflection coil using a winding machine and bonding the saddle-shaped deflection coil to provide adhesive bonding between winding turns of the coil while the coil remains in the winding machine. Then, the deflection coil is removed from the winding machine and heat is applied to the deflection coil after the deflection coil has been removed from the winding machine to a temperature above a first temperature and below a second temperature. Gaps are formed in the deflection coil subsequent to the winding process while the temperature of the coil is between the first and second temperatures.

    摘要: A deflection unit comprising a set of preformed diametrical deflection coils. A hollow coil support of synethic material includes at least two lugs into which respective permanent deformations are impressed. The coils are mechanically anchored to the lugs by means of, for example, an ultrasonic welding process in which the locations of the coil support situated opposite supported locations of the coils are softened and pressed into the coils. The coils substantially free of the coil support, i.e., the larger part of each coil is free of the coil support, and are not deformed so that their mutual position is accurately maintained.

    摘要: A method of manufacturing an electromagnetic deflection unit for a cathode ray tube, which unit comprises a field deflection coil consisting of two parts, a line deflection coil consisting of two parts and an annular core of a magnetizable material surrounding the two coils. The two parts of the field deflection coil are wound on the inside of a funnel-shaped field coil support. A hollow, funnel-shaped line deflection coil support having an annular flange at its wide end then passed into the field coil support to such an extent that its narrow end projects form the field coil supported and subsequently the two parts of the line deflection coil are wound on the inside of the line coil support.
