An ejection mechanism may include a scotch yoke assembly, the scotch yoke being reciprocatable to engage and eject a power cord plug out of a receptacle. The apparatus may include a power circuit with a normally-open first switch closing in response to the plug being inserted into the receptacle and a normally-closed second switch opening in response to a signal, power being transferred between the power cord and the power circuit when the first switch and second switch are closed, power being prevented if either the first or second switch opens.

摘要： Provided is a plug for use as a disconnector for current transformers. Two types of short circuits are provided in the plug. A first short circuit is used for diverting overvoltages by short-circuiting the electrical contacts in the plug. A second short circuit is provided for short-circuiting electrical contacts in the plug when the plug is not contacted. The short circuits are designed in such a way that the first short circuit is used as a fuse when the second short circuit fails.

摘要： A plug housing includes an ejector mechanism and a controller electrically coupled to the ejector mechanism for detaching electrical conductive blades of the plug from a mated connection with a female connector. In response to a switch signal from the controller, a solenoid is activated to release a latch in the mechanism, thereby permitting the force of a compressed spring to impel a structure outwardly from the plug. The controller may be located remotely from the plug and superimpose control signals to the plug over the power lines within the cord.

摘要： The electrical outlet safety device is placed between an electrical plug and the corresponding electrical outlet or receptacle to which the plug is connected. The safety device includes a thin body portion formed of a material adapted to expand rapidly if exposed to a predetermined temperature. A series of thin, electrically and thermally conductive blades extends from the body, with the blades being captured between the prongs of the plug and the internal contacts of the receptacle when installed therewith. If excessively high electrical resistance and correspondingly high temperature are produced in one or more of the electrical connections between the plug and the outlet, the blades of the safety device transmit the excessive temperature to the body, whereupon the body is transformed to an expansive electrically insulating foam that expels the plug from the receptacle. Springs may be included within the body to provide additional expansive force.

The electromagnetic switch module includes a first switch to activate the electromagnetic switch to produce an electromagnetic force. The sensing module includes a sensing element. The sensing element is positioned to be moved by the electromagnetic force when the electromagnetic switch module is activated thereby separating the external connection plug from the connection port.

摘要： According to the present invention, in a structure of a connector device for card having a lock-detecting mechanism of a card, a connector device for card capable of surely detecting that the card is locked with a simple structure without increasing the number of parts newly is provided. The connector device for card comprises: a slide member 6 for engaging with a card 4 attached to and detached from a housing 1 to be able to slide in a direction of inserting and discharging the card 4; a return spring 3 for biasing the slide member 6 in the direction of discharging the card 4; a lock member 5 for holding the slide member 6 against biasing force of the return spring 3 at a position where the card is fitted; and a push rod 8 arranged to be able to shift between a standby position and a pushed position for unlocking the lock of the lock member 5 by pressing manipulation to shift the slide member 6 to a discharge position of the card, wherein a switch member 10 is provided in the housing 1, the switch member 10 being operated in accordance with engagement/disengagement of the slide member 6 and the lock member 5 and detecting that the card is held at the fit position by engaging with the lock member 5.

The first electrical connector has a housing with a card slot, first contacts and a latching feature. The second electrical connector has a housing with second contacts. The dual connector system includes a dual connector module having a module circuit board having contact pads. The dual connector module has a latch movable between a latched position and an unlatched position. The latch engages the latching feature of the first electrical connector in the latched position to hold the dual connector module in a mated position. A release mechanism is operably coupled between the dual connector module and at least one of the first electrical connector and the second electrical connector. The release mechanism forces the dual connector module to an unmated position after the latch is moved from the latched position to the unlatched position.
