    摘要: Systems, methods and devices for transmitting and receiving and demodulating transpositional modulated signals, for increasing information bandwidth of defined communication channels, and for time-delay shifting an input signal in accordance to an input control signal are provided. One such method of increasing the information bandwidth of a defined communication channel includes receiving a first modulated signal having a first carrier signal frequency; receiving a second modulated signal having a second carrier signal frequency, the second modulated signal being modulated with information independent of information modulating the first carrier signal, the second carrier signal frequency being harmonically or sub-harmonically related to the first carrier signal frequency; and combining the first and second signals.

    摘要: Techniques for sending signaling messages in a wireless communication network are described. In an aspect, a signaling message (e.g., a reduce interference request) may be sent by mapping it to at least one specific subcarrier among a set of subcarriers reserved for sending the signaling message. The at least one subcarrier may be selected based on the message value. A signal may be sent on the at least one subcarrier in multiple symbol periods to convey the signaling message. In another aspect, a reduce interference request may be sent based on an orthogonal resource among orthogonal resources available for sending reduce interference requests. In one design, an orthogonal sequence may be selected based on the request and may be spread across a resource segment. In another design, the reduce interference request may be processed to obtain modulation symbols, and each modulation symbol may be spread across multiple subcarriers in one symbol period.

The system of frequency allocation for a user access local area network comprises: an information processing apparatus, a switch, a plurality of first modulators, a broadband high frequency synthesizer, a downlink amplifier, a plurality of trunk splitters, a plurality of branch splitters, a plurality of user terminal digital high frequency demodulators, a plurality of user terminal modulators, a plurality of trunk mixers, a plurality of branch mixers, an uplink amplifier, a broadband high frequency allocator and a plurality of first demodulators. The present invention uses a new communication resource configuration technology with high transparency in which every user is provided with his dedicated communication channel regardless of its busy/idle status. In addition, the present invention adopts a new physical layout construction of the user access LAN with a high frequency broadband, a high speed, and a large capacity in which passive operations without relay amplification can be achieved in the main trunk. Therefore, the seamless communication resource utilization is achieved, and the operation and communication service technology is provided which is suitable to the operation custom of the public so as to be easily learned and propagation.

    摘要: In a system applying orthogonal frequency division multiplexing, OFDM, a number of carriers are reserved for communication between unsynchronized nodes (N1, N2). At least one such reserved carrier is assigned to each base station. A sinusoidal signal is transmitted on this reserved carrier during a time period at least equal to two consecutive OFDM symbols. The unsynchronized receiver detects the sinusoidal signal during one of two consecutive OFDM symbol time periods. The existence, the frequency and the signal power of the signal give information about the existence and identity of the transmitter. Also, estimates of relative velocities and distances can be deduced. In preferred embodiments, the sinusoidal signal can also be used to transmit further information by using signal modulation or coding that is independent of the absolute signal phase.

    摘要: Techniques for sending signaling messages with beacon signals in a wireless communication network are described. In one design, a transmitter station may map a signaling message (e.g., a reduce interference request) to multiple code symbols. The transmitter station may select multiple resource elements from among a plurality of resource elements based on the multiple code symbols. In one design, each code symbol may be sent across frequency by selecting one of multiple subcarriers in one symbol period. In another design, each code symbol may be sent across time by selecting one of multiple symbol periods on one subcarrier. The transmitter station may generate a beacon signal having transmit power on the selected resource elements and no transmit power on remaining resource elements. The transmitter station may send the beacon signal to at least one receiver station.
