    Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for implementing a publish and subscribe communication system utilizing a load balancer and task schedulers are provided. Subscription requests are received from subscribers for subscribing to a topic published by a publisher. An external subscription list is maintained to track communication address information of the subscribers. A number of task schedulers are created based upon a count of subscribers within the external subscription list. The subscribers are assigned to the task schedulers such that a number of subscribers assigned to a task scheduler is limited according to a subscriber assignment limit. In response to the publisher creating data to publish to the topic, the task schedulers are controlled to use the communication address information to directly transfer data of the topic to the subscribers assigned to the task schedulers.

    Abstract: An Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) may include an O-RAN Centralized Unit (O-CU), at least one O-RAN Distributed Unit (O-DU), at least O-RAN Radio Unit (O-RU), and a Real-Time (RT) RAN Intelligent Controller (RIC) coupled to the at least O-DU and configured to host at least one application for controlling the at least one O-DU over a real-time control loop with a latency of less than 10 ms. The O-RAN wireless system may include a Non-RT (Non-RT) RIC configured to manage resources and events having a latency of 1 second or greater, and may include a Near-RT RIC configured to manage resources and events having a latency of 10 ms to 1 second. In addition, O-RAN may include a Service Management and Orchestrator (SMO) platform, where the RT RIC is connected to at least one of the SMO, the Non-RT RIC, the Near-RT RIC, RAN network elements and the O-RU.

    Abstract: The technology includes a method performed by a system of a telecommunications network to manage network traffic of a 5G network. The system can instantiate a security system to sort incoming or outgoing network traffic at a perimeter of the 5G network into multiple groups that are each uniquely associated with multiple traffic types and multiple security levels. The system can inspect segments of data included in the incoming network traffic and sort multiple portions of the network traffic into the groups based in part on the inspection of the segments of the data. The system can dynamically adjust an available bandwidth of the 5G network based on each load of each of the groups and dispatch the portions of the network traffic in accordance with a traffic type and a security level of each of the groups.
