    摘要: The invention relates to a method and a device for gas filling and sealing of a duct intended to be filled with gas and positioned in a container of a collapsible type. The duct is defined by two opposite side walls which are joined along a connecting portion and comprises an inlet arranged in one of the side walls. A part of the container that comprises the inlet is clamped between an abutment and a gas module which is axially movable towards the abutment. Clamping occurs in such a manner that one of the two side walls included in the duct is allowed, in response to a gas flow supplied from the gas module and entering the duct through said inlet, to bulge to form a free passage into the duct for filling the same with gas. After completion of the gas filling, the duct is sealed. The invention also relates to a container blank having a duct which is specially developed for the method and the device.

    摘要: The invention concerns a rotary type bag manufacturing machine which feeds continuously material paper (R) to form angulated bottom bags (B) with handles (T) in which a top edge (S2) with the handles (T) pasted can be folded toward an inside in the manufacturing process. Material paper (R) wound in a roll is continuously fed out. After forming lateral slits (15) and Letter-J-shaped nicks (16) on the material paper (R) by an incising device (4), reinforcing papers (T1) for handles (T) formed by a handle forming device 2 are pasted. Then, a cutting device (6) cuts off the material paper (R) on a cut line aligned with the lateral slits (15) to thereby form the material paper (R) with the handles (T) which remains unfolded in a plane. A cut end portion (S2) with each handle (T) pasted is folded toward an inside to invisibly cover each reinforcing paper (T1) for the handle (T). Thereafter, angulated bottom paper bags (B) are formed through a paper tube forming process and a bottom folding process.

    摘要: A cross-laminated synthetic resin fabric mesh material is formed into wicket-top produce bags for use with automatic bag filling equipment. A longitudinally moving sheet of the mesh is folded and formed into a folded, gusseted tubular web. Laterally spaced holes for wicket pin attachment and slots are formed at selected positions along the length of the moving web according to the desired bag height. A wicket-top attachment is then formed on the web near the wicket pin holes. The web is then cut into bag length sleeves, which are thereafter closed at an opposite end to form the bag.

    摘要: The handles of bags, provided with legs, are cemented to both sides of the opening sides of the bags. The handles are U-shaped handles made of strip-shaped material. Parts of the handles are folded over onto the side walls of the bags and fastened with adhesive spots to the side walls of the bags or to the non-folded over segments of the legs. After the legs have been glued to the continuously conveyed bags, the handle parts are folded over onto the side walls of the bags around prerupture lines of the legs in the direction of transport. The handle parts are folded over by at least one fold-over rod extending at a right angle to the direction of transport.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for forming specially-configured handles in a plurality of interconnected plastic bags traveling in a longitudinal direction. The plastic bags are interconnected along transverse lines of weakness spaced at bag-length distances apart. The apparatus and method comprise using a rotary anvil and a rotary cutting die. The rotary anvil has a first axis of rotation. The rotary cutting die is disposed adjacent to the rotary anvil and has a second axis of rotation substantially parallel to the first axis of rotation. The rotary cutting die includes a rotatable cylindrical shaft, a blade shell mounted on the shaft, and a generally W-shaped blade formed on the blade shell. The blade has a base portion and a pair of substantially linear opposing legs, and the base portion has an inverted, V-shaped configuration. The opposing legs extend upwardly relative to the base portion and outwardly relative to each other. The blade cuts and thereby forms a pair of handles in each of the plastic bags in response to passing the plastic bags between the rotary anvil and the rotary cutting die.

    摘要: A bag machine includes a hole forming apparatus with a pair of adjustably mounted hole punches and a wicketing apparatus including a pair of wicket pins. Both the punches and pins are separately adjustably mounted on a slide mechanism for establishing corresponding location in spacing of the punched holes in the receiving wicket pins. Each slide mechanism or assembly includes fixed elongated track having equi-spaced locking elements in the form of spaced recesses in the base of the track. The recesses are equi-spaced. A separate slide element is provided for each of the paired devices for adjustably mounting of the device on the related track. Each slide includes a spring loaded detent plunger aligned with the series of locking recesses. The punch slides are located in alignment with the recesses on the punched track and the plunger released to lock the punches in predetermined hole spacing. The wicket pins are correspondingly adjusted to locate the wicketing pins of each stack unit with corresponding hole-to-hole spacing. In each slide assembly, a single pair of simple detent units control the proper spacing of the punches and the pins.
