摘要： A plurality of stacked polyethylene film bags comprising about 40-48 wt. % high density, high molecular weight polyethylene, 12-20 wt. % high density, medium molecular weight polyethylene, 20-30 wt. % linear low density polyethylene, 0-8 wt. % color concentrate, are releasably adhered together in substantial registration. Each of the bags includes front and rear polyethylene film walls and each of the front and rear walls have first and second side edges, a top edge and a bottom edge. The front and rear walls are integrally joined at their first and second side edges and secured together at their bottom edges. An open mouth portion is defined adjacent the top edges of the bag. At least an upper portion of the outer surface of the front and rear walls of each of the bags has been corona treated. T-shirt style bags using the above formulation are also described.

摘要： Problems concerning adhesion strength and aging time are eliminated in plastic-bag production in which a strip sheet is bonded with an adhesive and a handle is formed from the strip sheet on an outer surface of a plastic bag. Provided is a bag-making machine in which a strip sheet (17) and a web material are disposed so as to face each other and are pressed, with a high-adhesion adhesive (21) and another adhesive (25) interposed therebetween. The strip sheet (17) is provisionally fixed to the web material with the latter adhesive (25). This web material after the provisional fixing is wound on a roll, and a plastic bag is produced after lapse of an aging time for the high-adhesion adhesive (21). In this machine, the web material is supplied from the roll, and a plastic bag is produced from the web material.

摘要： A method of manufacturing bags that are rectangular when collapsed and which comprise two superimposed flat sides, sealed at the edges, and a handle member. The method comprises the steps of: laying out a web forming three parallel subordinate webs, one extending longitudinally in the middle and one on each lateral side thereof; folding two top flanks out of the middle subordinate web to create a handle-top portion; V-folding a center strip of the middle subordinate web to create a handle member; providing the handle member with a finger slot and with depressions that allow the middle part to be pulled apart along the handle member to form a gusset; bringing the two lateral subordinate webs together; and attaching the lateral subordinate webs together along seams to create bag edges and cutting off the bags along their edges.

In order to prevent the carrying handle part from being torn out from between the portions of the strips of material, even when subjected to a heavy load, the carrying handle part includes a strip bent into the form of a letter U, having two limbs interconnected by a crosspiece, whose limbs are bonded between and to the superposed portions of the strips of material, which are themselves bonded together.

摘要： A bag structure of a thermoplastic film material comprising front and rear bag walls connected by side walls and having an open mouth top portion, said open mouth portion being characterized by having handles located at opposite end regions thereof, said handles being of two films as a result of being integral extensions of said front rear and gusseted side walls, said bag having a bottom wall planarly extensible so as to form a rectangle with at least no substantial excess film outside of the bulk volumetric capacity of said bottom region of said bag. This invention also provides a method and system for preparing flat bottom thermoplastic sacks comprising process steps and means for forming a tube of thermoplastic film, collapsing said tube while forming two oppositely disposed gussets therein, forming two pairs of diagonal sealed seams in the gussets, forming a transverse sealed seam across the tube along a line which includes the inboard ends of the diagonal seams and forming pre-weakened transverse lines closely adjacent to said transverse sealed seam or forming a severing line along this line, removing the four double triangular regions bounded by the diagonal seams, the transverse seams and the side edges of the tube and collecting the resulting structures either while still interconnected or by stacking the severed sacks. The final structure can have handles or it can be handleless.

摘要： A lapel provided at the one end of a paper sheet to forming a paper bag is introduced into the interior of an opening on the rotary cylinder by means. The folding blade has a rotational axis located outside the rotary cylinder parallel to an axis of rotation of the rotary cylinder. The thus bent lapel is brought in pressure contact with the edge face of the opening by means of a holding pawl which turns in operative association with the rotary cylinder. Thereafter, the lapel is covered and depressed by means of a depressing pawl which turns in operative association with the rotary cylinder whereby the lapel and a part of the paper sheet are adhesively secured to one another to build a double-walled structure around the opening of the paper bag.

摘要： In a device according to the invention, a roll of narrow strip is unwound, fed through a cutting station and severed into discrete lengths which are conveyed forward above the level of the running sheet of wrapping film and at right angles to the direction in which it is run through the machine. The two ends of each discrete strip are picked up by suckers fitted to the projecting ends of a pair of arms which are drawn together through 90.degree., rotating about respective vertical axes, and thus cause the strip to assume a `U` shape before being attached to the wrapping film in such a way as to furnish a carrying handle.
