    Abstract: A quick connector having a check device includes an outer body, a locking member, an engaging ring, an inner body and an outer locking member. The inner body has a protrusion at one end thereof and an opening next to the protrusion. The protrusion is connected with a membrane member. The membrane member has a central through hole for insertion of the protrusion and a membrane sheet adapted to cover the opening. The membrane member provides a one-way function for air flow. When air flows reversely, the membrane member will cover the opening to provide a check function.

    Abstract: An air valve device is adapted to be fitted into an opening of an inflatable article, and includes a valve seat formed with a valve body that is disposed between an inflating port and a conduit, an axially movable member having a valve disc which is disposed in the conduit to be moved between open and closed positions, and a plunger which is connected to the valve disc and which has a head end disposed in the inflating port, a biasing member disposed to bias the valve disc to the closed position, and a releasably retaining mechanism disposed between the valve seat and the plunger to arrest axial movement of the movable member against the biasing action of the biasing member when the valve disc is in the open position, thereby facilitating inflation and deflation of the inflatable article.

    Abstract: A valve is generally elongated in shape and is inserted through an O-ring and amounting hole formed through a plate-shaped member. The valve includes a thread formed on an outer circumferential face of the valve so that a generally annular fitting is engaged therewith, an outer protruding wall protruding from the outer circumferential face of the valve to hold a circumferential edge of the mounting hole in cooperation with the fitting, a tapered portion formed in the outer protruding wall so as to be tapered toward the fitting and so as to abut against a part of the circumferential edge of the mounting hole, and a sealing portion disposed at a side farther away from the plate-shaped member than a portion of the protruding wall abutting against said circumferential edge part of the mounting hole so that each of the plate-shaped member and the sealing portion presses the O-ring against the other.

    Abstract: A low profile inflation valve intended to be installed with an article to inflated with air, water or other fluid. The valve of the invention comprises a valve body which is sealed, such as by an adhesive, heat-sealing or RF sealing, to a corresponding opening in the article to be inflated. The body comprises a generally circular cylindrical configuration with internal threads for receiving a cap. The cap correspondingly comprises a circular cylindrical configuration having exterior threads for threaded engagement into the valve body. A flapper is affixed to the underside of the cap and functions as a one-way valve to prevent fluid from within the article from escaping therefrom when the cap is partially threaded within the body and yet which allows inflation of the article. Moreover, full tightening of the cap within the body sealingly entraps the flapper between the cap in a lower portion of the body so as to create an airtight seal and prevent further inflation (or deflation) of the article. A dust cap is provided for covering the cap during use of the article after inflation so as to prevent dust and other debris from contaminating the interior of the cap and otherwise obstructing or interfering with the proper sealing of the flapper to the underside of the cap. Preferably, the dust cap is tethered to the cap by means of a tether having a living hinge and the cap is tethered to the body by means of another tether which allows the cap to be fully removed from the body and moved off to the side during deflation of the article.

    Abstract: A replaceable inflation valve for a marine fender wherein, in one embodiment, the valve is slidably received in a valve seat formed in the fender, and wherein a bored collar is threadably received in the valve seat to hold a flexible member of the valve in place in the fender. The upper portion of the flexible member of the valve is received within the bore formed in the collar to provide access to the flexible member of the valve when the collar is in place. The flexible member of the valve comprises an elongated tubular member with one open end and one normally closed end. The normally closed end is openable by insertion of a needle valve through a slit therein. Upon removal of the needle valve, the slit closes on itself by reason of the inherent resiliency of the flexible member.
