摘要: The fluid pressure regulating valve is for use in an aircraft engine. The valve has at least a first fluid inlet, a first fluid outlet and a second fluid outlet. The valve comprises: a valve housing having a first valve spool interior cavity; a first fluid path within the valve housing from the fluid inlet to the first fluid outlet; a second fluid path within the valve housing from the fluid inlet to the second fluid outlet; a first valve spool mounted for reciprocal motion within the first valve spool cavity between a first position and a second position, the first valve spool having a second valve spool interior cavity and being spring-biased to its first position; and a second valve spool mounted for reciprocal motion within the second valve spool cavity between a first position and a second position, the second valve spool being spring-biased to its first position, the second valve spool closing the first fluid path at its second position when the first valve spool is substantially at its first position.

摘要: The three-way valve allows fluid flow to be selectively directed to a run outlet, a bypass outlet or both at the same time. The three-way valve includes a flow diffuser with a primary valve seat positioned opposite a bypass valve seat. Choke points and flow restrictions, strategically positioned in the flow diffuser create a substantially flat velocity profile downstream of the bypass outlet. Larger versions of this three-way valve may be used in Vertical Takeoff and Landing (“VTOL”) aircraft. Other versions may be used in ships and other watercraft.

摘要: The object of the present invention is to provide a four-way switching valve which is compact in size and inexpensive. A three-way switching valve having a valve element for connecting a port B to a port A, or to a port D via a sleeve, in a switching manner, and a three-way switching valve having a valve element for connecting a port C to the port A, or to the port D, in a switching manner, and a piston for actuating these three-way switching valves are coaxially arranged within a hollow cylindrical body. A three-way solenoid valve introduces high pressure into a pressure chamber on the upper side of the piston to actuate the valve elements held on the sleeve downward, while the upward actuation is effected with a driving force produced by reducing the pressure in the pressure chamber and configuring guides to have a larger pressure-receiving area than that of a guide. This makes the whole construction of the four-way switching valve simple and compact in size, and the body can be machined only by uni-axial machining, which makes it possible to reduce the manufacturing costs. Further, the valve elements are configured such that they are prevented from being seated simultaneously, and the motion of one seated earlier in a seating direction is accommodated by springs to thereby eliminate the possibilities of developing defective sealing.

摘要: A improved metering valve includes a valve body, a retractable member, a control device, a feed duct and a return duct. The feed duct has a relay duct connected to a pumping system so that liquid may be directly pumped via the feed duct into the valve body. When the control device is inactive, a cock fitted into the valve body is urged by a spring to urge against an outlet of the valve body so that liquid cannot flow out therethrough. Instead, the liquid flows via a return hole into the return duct and back to the liquid reservoir. When the control device is actuated, a connecting portion thereof retracts so that the cock and a rod disposed thereon displace upwardly, so that the cock seals the return hole, allowing liquid into the feed duct and the valve body, through the through holes and out through the outlet for filling purposes. When the liquid has filled to a determined level, the control device stops and the spring will stretch so that the cock seals the outlet. Excessive liquid will flow via the return duct for recycling purposes.

摘要: A control valve for a vehicle fluid pressure braking system includes a housing having an inlet port, an outlet port and a delivery port. A plunger is movable in the housing to control communication between the ports. The plunger is provided with a shoulder which carries a sealing member which engages with a seating area on the housing to provide a seal controlling communication between the aforementioned ports. The seal includes a circumferentially extending cavity on the housing in which the body portion of the seal is received. A pair of beads project from the body portion of the seal in opposite axial directions, so that when the seal is moved into engagement with the seating surface, one of the beads sealingly engages the sealing surface, and the axial direction forces generated thereby force the bead on the opposite side of the seal into sealing engagement with a sealing surface on the plunger. When the plunger is moved away from the seating surface, thereby abruptly reducing the pressure level around the plunger, high pressure air which is trapped in the groove receiving the body portion of the seal may escape by deflecting the bead away from the sealing surface on the plunger, thereby preventing the high pressure fluid from forcing the seal from the groove.
