摘要： A locking cover plate can be selectively locked in position on a stortz pipe end fitting or can be unlocked and removed for access to the open pipe end. The cover plate includes a sliding plate that is driven laterally outward into a deployed state by rotating a drive bolt. The drive bolt is coupled to the sliding plate through a torque limiting coupling that transfers the rotation of the drive bolt to translating movement of the latch bar with a cam plate. Movement of the sliding plate is indicated through a front of the cover plate such that the user can identify whether the cover plate is locked on a fitting or simply placed on the fitting without the lock engaged.

摘要： A lockable pipe cover includes an inner cap and an outer cover which are selectively coupled together for axial rotation. When the cap is locked, the inner cap and the outer cover are free to rotate independently from one another thus rotation of the outer cover will not remove the cap from the pipe. In the unlocked position, the inner cap and the outer cover are coupled for rotation and thus rotation of the outer cover results in rotation of the inner cap.

The security cover mounts over the turret using a vertical rod that extends from above the housing to a location within the drive mechanism of the gate arm motor, and a lock that secures the housing and prevents unauthorized tampering with the drive arm.

The lock assembly further includes a lock post which is intended to be screwthreadedly mounted to a mounting bar, and the lock post including a first diametric channel cut into the upper portion thereof along a diametric centrally positioned plane, and continues into a curvilinear channel, ending at a pair of opposed stop points, the plane formed by the stop points being exactly 90° perpendicular to the plane formed by the diametric lock channel.

The top panel and base member include corresponding bores through which a rod may be extended and locked. Selected items may be stowed for safekeeping in a compartment mounted to an underside of the top panel.

The device includes a plurality of sections sharing a common axis member. One section is fixedly connected to the axis member, which serves as a pivot point around which each remaining section may be rotated. An integral keyless locking mechanism is included to automatically secure the device once it has been installed on a steering wheel by fixedly connecting each rotatable section to the axis member. The size of the device is substantially reduced for storage purposes by selectively varying the dimensions of each section and by locating the axis member so that each rotatable section is pivotable in a concentric arc around it to a single nested position including the fixedly connected section. Certain embodiments include an interference bar member, an electronic alarm system, or both, to enhance the anti-theft capability of the device.

摘要： A locking assembly used to deny access to a nut or to a bolt head to prevent theft of an article that is bolted to a body such as a vehicle. The locking assembly includes a retainer through which the bolt passes and that partially surrounds the nut or bolt head that secures the retainer to the body. The retainer includes a groove that extends circumferentially around it. The locking assembly also includes a housing that fits over the retainer and that is selectively engaged to the retainer by a ball bearing that is pushed into the groove on the retainer when a key turns the shaft of a lock which turns a cam that pushes the ball bearing into the groove. The locking assembly has an exceptionally low profile, made possible by positioning the lock perpendicular to the axis of the bolt. Further strength is imparted to the locking assembly by the fact that the retainer is almost as deep in the axial direction as the housing, and the strength of the retainer reinforces the housing.
