Provided is an enclosure with an integrated hydrant. The enclosure includes a fluid flow conduit that transfers fluid from a fluid supply tube to a fluid outlet, which may be associated with the backflow preventer. The enclosure has a conduit that carries water from the fluid supply tube to the backflow preventer. Thus, a lower profile, lighter, and more aesthetically pleasing enclosure is provided.

A lockable pipe cover includes an inner cap and an outer cover which are selectively coupled together for axial rotation. When the cap is locked, the inner cap and the outer cover are free to rotate independently from one another thus rotation of the outer cover will not remove the cap from the pipe. In the unlocked position, the inner cap and the outer cover are coupled for rotation and thus rotation of the outer cover results in rotation of the inner cap.

Provided are covers useful for covering the open end of an access conduit that may contain fluid control equipment. In one embodiment, a cover according to the invention comprises a disc-shaped base portion having a top surface and a bottom surface, with a plurality of groups of stability tangs attached to its bottom surface. A cover as provided herein is readily adaptable to fit a large number of conduit boxes, valve boxes and the like which are presently in common use.
Abstract:
Improvements in present day fire hydrants are presented. The improvement relates to a fire hydrant where the above ground structure is essentially removed and is replaced with an adaptable connection. The connection uses the same mounting hole pattern as used in the above ground hydrant. In operation, the adaptable connection is protected by a hinged cover that is opened to provide access to the adaptable connection. The adaptable connection includes a bayonet type connection where a portable fire hydrant is secured and rotated to start the flow of water. The adapter includes an electronic communication device that transmits real-time information on connection and flow characteristics. The adaptable fire connection eliminates the appearance of the fire hydrant, the potential of a vehicle hitting a fire hydrant and the material cost associated with above ground fire hydrants.

A construction system includes a building structure, grounds adjacent the building structure, and artificial structures in the grounds. The artificial structures includes a water system with a valve box. The valve box includes a cover. The system also includes means for dissimulating the cover, and for preventing stones and other particles from penetrating and accumulating in the box to adversely affect operation of valves in the box.
Abstract:
An improved gate valve lid for covering an access tube of a service box assembly leading to a gate valve below street level. The lid has a vertical height which is greater than its diameter so that the lid may not be flipped out of the service box assembly. In one embodiment, the lid includes a two-part assembly having an upper portion which is sized to rest in a tapered upper section of the service box located near street level, and a lower portion which may be displaced laterally with respect to the upper portion to allow the lower portion to be centered within a lower section of the service box, which may be out of alignment with the upper section. In this embodiment, the lower adjustable portion of the gate valve lid is preferably a tubular element slidably located on a cross pin passing through holes located at the upper end of the element across a downwardly opening recess in the upper portion. In one embodiment, the lower portion of the lid is defined by a plurality of downwardly depending fingers.
