    摘要: A lock cylinder comprises a cylinder housing and a cylinder core having at least one rotatable magnetic tumbler supported therein, in which at least one axially slidable locking element is provided. The locking element has projections thereon directed toward the exterior. The locking element has a contacting slider having contacting elements projecting toward the rotatable magnetic tumblers, and a locking slider engaged with and fit together with the contacting slider, on which are mounted the projections. The lock cylinder is also provided with a pressing member fixed with respect to the cylinder housing, by which the locking element in the O-position of the cylindrical core is held against the force of a compressible spring engaged to the locking element, and is pushed into an unlocking position on rotation of the cylindrical core.

The rotary disc assembly comprises a plurality of discs aligned concentrically within a cylinder, which cylinder is interconnected to one end of the locking shaft by means transmitting turning force thereto. The bolting element is disposed within an aperture within the body and is moved to a position partially protruding therefrom when a bearing surface of the locking shaft is rotated and presented to the bolting element. The rotation of the locking shaft is determined by key action turning the rotary disc assembly from a locked to an unlocked position and the reverse.

    摘要: The plug of a cylindrical lock includes at each side of its key channel a blind boring communicating with a conical recess in an arresting plate secured to the housing of the lock. The blind boring intersects cylindrical rotary control members arranged for rotation in the plug and each having a diametrical passage coinciding in one angular position thereof with the blind boring. A series of arresting balls is arranged in the blind boring and in respective passages in such a manner as to resume in the aligned position of the members a blocking position in which the terminal ball is in engagement with the conical recess. During the rotation of the plug by a correct key the arresting balls are shifted by the inclined surfaces of the conical recess into the blind boring and the plug is free to rotate. By the insertion of a wrong key at least one passage is misaligned and consequently the terminal arresting ball cannot be removed from its arresting recess.

An externally toothed gear coaxially of the barrel is operatively disposed between the barrel and the bolt for controlling the operation of the latter. There are a plurality of toothed sector members with slots in engagement with a fence plate when they are in alignment, the fence plate being driven by a check fence plate resiliently connected thereto and displaceable in response to the barrel motion so as to permit rotation of the barrel even if the fence member is not in engagement with the slots in the sector members.

    摘要: The rotatable plug of a cylinder lock has an axially extending outwardly open cavity paralleling a key slot and normally registering with an axially extending groove in the inner wall surface of the surrounding cylinder, the groove and the cavity being bridged by a locking bar with sloping flanks cammable radially inwardly, against the force of compression springs within the recess, upon rotation of the plug relative to the cylinder. Seated in the cavity are a plurality of axially spaced tumblers which are freely rotatable about pins transverse to the cylinder axis and have recesses alignable, in a predetermined operating position, with respective projections on the locking bar to enable the inward camming of the latter; each tumbler carries a pair of permanent magnets confronting a thin partition between the cavity and the key slot. Upon insertion of the right key into the slot, pairs of magnets on the key surface adjoining the partition coact with the magnets on the tumblers to align their recesses with the associated projections on the locking bar. A longitudinal rib on the key, fitting into an axially extending channel of the key slot, prevents improper insertion of the key and has a notch engageable by a spring-loaded latch, transversely slidable in the plug near its entrance end, which blocks rotation of the plug if a key or other object is partly introduced into the slot.
