摘要: A method and apparatus for cutting moils from necks of molded plastic containers and installing spouts in the necks are disclosed. The apparatus includes a pick and place mechanism that rotates along an arcuate path transporting the containers between a cutting station, a facing station and an assembly station positioned along the path. An oven located above the assembly station heats spouts which are coated with a hot-melt adhesive. The heated spouts are supplied to the assembly station under gravity feed. The method includes cutting the moils from the container necks at the cutting station, finishing the neck by burnishing and reaming at the facing station, heating the spouts in the oven, orienting the spouts and inserting them into the finished necks of the containers at the assembly station.

摘要: A tube cutting machine comprises a tube secured in a chuck tightened against an outer tube wall and by a mandrel expanded within the tube against the tube inner wall opposite the chuck. A blade with a conical body side on the tube body side advances into the tube at the body side angle, eliminating longitudinal force against the tube body and accumulation of tube material on the blade body side. In alternative embodiments, either the tube or the blade can rotate. As the blade edge enters the tube wall, the blade end side, opposite the body side is also conical and pushes the tube cut portion longitudinally away from the tube body, causing the tube before the blade to neck under the longitudinal force imposed by the blade end side. The blade is reversed when the neck weakens and is unable support the tube cut portion but has not yet broken, referred to as the failure point. The blade is then withdrawn and the neck is snapped off. The failure point is detected by a rod urged transversely against the tube end. When the tube end begins to move indicating pending tube wall failure, the blade is immediately withdrawn from the tube. The rod continues to move the tube cut portion, snapping it from the tube body. The resulting cut does not have any burrs radially inward or outward of the tube wall, though there is a small burr extending longitudinally from the tube wall.

摘要: A skiving apparatus for simultaneously skiving the outer and inner surfaces of an end of reinforced hose. The apparatus comprises an outer diameter cutting tool, an internal skiving mandrel and a bracket for holding the outer diameter cutting tool and the internal skiving mandrel in a substantially perpendicular relation. The internal skiving mandrel has a nose for coaxially receiving a hose end thereover, spiral cutting threads and a stop collar. To achieve the desired simultaneous skiving effect, the internal skiving mandrel and the outer diameter cutting tool have a coincident cutting direction. Thus, when the hose is fed over the mandrel and the apparatus is rotated the simultaneous skiving of the inner and outer surfaces of the hose is accomplished.

摘要: A thermo-shrinking film cutting mechanism used in a labeling machine, including a plurality of cutter units mounted on locating frames and equiangularly spaced around a center guide shaft, each cutter unit including a crank shaft, axle bearings, a coupling plate, an index plate, a locating plate, a cutter holder, a cutter blade and a clamping plate, a transmission mechanism driven to rotate said cutter units, causing said cutter units to cut a thermo-shrinking film, the transmission mechanism including a transmission disk having a plurality of receiving holes, which hold a respective axle bearing, which supports the eccentric upper section of one crank shaft, enabling the crank shafts of the cutter units to be rotated synchronously when the crank shaft of one cutter unit is rotated by a transmission belt through a transmission wheel, the cutter holder being slidably mounted in a transverse bottom groove on the locating plate and fixed in place by an adjustment screw to hold the respective cutter blade at the desired position.

The driving pole drives the cutting assembly to move and the rotation pole to rotate, the cutter cuts the lens module during moving along the driving pole.

摘要: A head trimmer machine for cutting off excess material from a cylindrical portion of a blow molded bottle includes a fixture, a spindle rotatably mounted in the fixture, a cutting head attached to the spindle for rotation therewith, a cutter mounted to the cutting head, and a vacuum source for collecting the trimmed material by suction. The cutting head has a central passage so that it can fit down over the head of the blow molded bottle. The cutter is supported in the cutting head for movement between retracted and extended positions. In the extended position, the cutter extends into the central passage of the cutting head to cut the head or other excess material from the neck of the bottle as the cutting head turns. The spindle includes a central passage aligned with the central passage of the cutting head and the excess material is removed by being drawn through these passages by a gaseous flow created by the vacuum source. Movement of the cutter can be pneumatically controlled by a pair of air pistons located on the cutting head, with the air pistons receiving pneumatic control signals from an outside source via rotational pneumatic couplings between the fixture and spindle.

摘要: A device for cutting a pipe including a first carriage, which is movable on the base of the device and has an outer cutter, and a second carriage mounted on the first carriage. The second carriage includes a plurality of guide rods arranged on a support arm so that when the support arm is rotated the guide rods draw a circle and the pipe is fed to fit on each of the guide rods interchangeably. Each guide rod has an inner cutter so that the outer cutter in cooperation with the inner cutter cuts the pipe while the first carriage is moved in the direction in which the pipe is fed into the device.
