    摘要: An apparatus for removing plastic wrapping film, in particular stretch film, from pallets (1) of products comprises: a pair of cutting devices (2) positioned on opposite sides of the pallet (1), acting on the opposite vertical surfaces (1a, 1b) of the pallet (1) and mobile along a horizontal axis (X), allowing the film (3) to be cut along the vertical surface (1a, 1b) and close to the upper surface (1c) of the pallet (1); an operating unit (4) at each vertical surface (1a, 1b) cut and comprising belts (5) which pick up the lower flap (6) of the film (3) cut; blades (7) for cutting the film (3) along vertical axes (Z, Znull), to the base of the pallet (1), creating two separate flaps (8, 9, 8, 9null) for each vertical surface (1a, 1b) and drive means (10) for rotating the pick up belts (5), to allow the opening of each pair of flaps (8, 9, 8, 9) away from the respective vertical surface (1a, 1b); a mobile unit (11) for picking up the pairs of flags (8, 9, 8 9) and completely removing teh wrapping film (3) from the pallet (1), when the pick up belts (5) release teh flaps (8, 9, 8 9).

    摘要: Web or sheet-fed segment processing apparatus (30, 300) is provided for high speed, extremely accurate operations such as die cutting or lamination. The apparatus (30, 300) includes a processing station (32, 300) adapted to receive a segment (38) forming a part of a continuous web (100, 102) or as a discrete sheet. The station (32, 300) includes a vacuum hold-down plate (142, 306) for holding initially fed segments (38); the hold-down plate (32, 308) is shiftable as necessary along orthogonal X-Y axes in the plane of the segment (38), and/or null rotation about a rotational axis transverse to the segment plane, such movement being effected by a series of aligned, translatable eccentric drive units (178-182, 346-350) coupled with plate (142, 306). Preferably, the segments (38) carry positioning fiducials (44) and which are compared with fixed reference indicia (250, 252) in the station (32, 300). Such comparison data is used by a controller (254) to generate the necessary movement information used in simultaneous operation of the associated plate drive units (178-182, 346-350).

    摘要: An adjustable angular shearing device (10) in accordance with the invention is adapted to transversely shear sheet material from a continuous strip in a punch press. The device (10) has an upper punch (24) which coacts wtih a lower die (28) to shear sheet material passing between them. The punch (24) comprises a pair of members (32, 34) which coact with a pair of corresponding members (74, 76) on a lower die (28). The members rotate about aligned posts (26, 30) at the vertex of an angle. The rotation of the members about each respective post is selectively adjustable. A chevron-shaped part can be stamped from a continuous strip of sheet material by two successive stamps of the punch press.

    摘要: A punch press has a ram assembly with a lower portion which is rotatable and reciprocatable about a vertical axis and, a die holder which is rotatable about the same axis. A gear mechanism is coupled between a drive motor and the lower portion of the ram assembly and the die holder to effect simultaneous rotation thereof, which effects reorientation of the tooling relative to the X and Y axes of the punch press. In this fashion, rotation of the tooling will enable a single set of tooling to effect cutouts of different orientation in a workpiece relative to the X and Y axes, and movement of the sheet material along the X and Y axes together with such rotation of the tooling enables complex configurations to be nibbled or cutout with a limited number of sets of tools.

    摘要: A blanking shear machine has a rotatable upper turret having a holder for an upper blade. The upper blade has two contiguous sides which form a right angle therebetween. A rotatably mounted lower turret has a holder for a lower blade which corresponds to the upper blade. Means for clamping and positioning a workpiece are provided between the upper and lower turrets. The turrets are rotated to position the blades to provide the desired cut. A plurality of strikers are provided above the upper turret at four positions above the upper blade at which the contiguous sides of the blade are aligned with the X-axis and Y-axis coordinates. Means for actuating the strikers are provided to lower the upper blade to engage the lower blade, shearing the workpiece between the two blades.
