摘要: A vehicle cornering light can improve the visibility in a diagonally front area of the vehicle without increasing the luminous intensity of the cornering light (or light source thereof). The cornering light that is provided at or near a front corner of a vehicle and is configured to emit light for illuminating a diagonally front area of the vehicle can include a light source that can emit light with a color temperature of from 3700K to 7000K. The cornering light can emit light for illuminating a lateral area ranging from 60° to 75° with respect to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The light source can be composed of a first light source configured to emit light for illuminating an area partly overlapping, or adjacent to, an illumination area of the headlight of the vehicle, and a second light source configured to emit light for illuminating an area partly overlapping, or adjacent to, the illumination area of the first light source. The color temperatures of the headlight, the first light source, and the second light source are sequentially changed to be higher in this respective order.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a bonding substrate is disclosed. An oxide film is formed on at least one of two semiconductor substrates, and the two substrates are brought into close contact with each other via the oxide film. The substrates are heat-treated in an oxidizing atmosphere in order to firmly join the substrates together. Subsequently, the peripheral portion of a device-fabricating substrate is ground to a predetermined thickness, and an unjoined portion at the periphery of the device-fabricating substrate is completely removed through etching. The device-fabricating substrate is then ground and/or polished in order to reduce the thickness of the device-fabricating substrate to a desired thickness. The step of grinding the peripheral portion of the device-fabricating substrate to a predetermined thickness is performed by relative and radial movement of a grinding stone from the peripheral portion of the substrate toward the center thereof. The method enables grinding of a peripheral portion of the device-fabricating substrate for the purpose of removing an unjoined portion such that the device-fabricating substrate is ground to as small a thickness as possible in order to increase productivity while reducing costs. The method also prevents damage from reaching the support substrate even when the device-fabricating substrate is ground to such a small thickness.

摘要: This invention provides a tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) copolymer resin powder composition capable, upon rotational lining, of generating a corrosion-resistant, nonstick film, which is a thick film on a metal or a like substrate, essentially free of gas bubbles, and excellent in adhesion and peel resistance. The TFE-copolymer resin powder composition comprises granules which comprise particles of a TFE/perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) copolymer (PFA), polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) particles having an average particle size of 0.3-50 .mu.m, and a heat resistant filler. This invention also provides a process for manufacturing the TFE copolymer resin powder composition comprising either (1) granulating a mixture of PFA particles, PPS and a heat resistant filler in the presence of water and an organic liquid, or (2) mixing PFA, PPS, and a heat-resistant filler, compression-molding, and pulverizing.

摘要: A method for forming a through hole, which resolves many problems of conventional method for forming a through hole by applying laser beam and can easily control a shape of the through hole so as to form even diameters at a laser incident side and an opposite side without dependence on a shape of a work object, and form a counter-tapered hole with a diameter at the opposite side larger than that at the incident side, is provided. In the method based on a laser ablation method for forming a through hole, the laser beam is applied on a laser beam exit surface of the work object to be in contact with at least one of a colloid solution of a high-polymer material, a solution of a high-polymer material or polyol.

摘要: A vehicle light can improve the visibility (noticeability) for pedestrians, roadside obstructs, other vehicles and the like in actual traffic environments. The vehicle light can be configured to project light beams with a predetermined white color, and can include a light source with a color temperature range of 4500 K to 7000 K. The light source emits light beams including four color light beams represented by four coordinate values of predicted colors including red, green, blue and yellow in the a* b* coordinate system corresponding to the CIE 1976 L*a*b* color space. The four coordinate values in the a* b* coordinate system can be encompassed by respective circle areas having a radius of, for example, 5, and each having center coordinate values of (41.7, 20.9) for red, (−39.5, 14.3) for green, (8.8, −29.9) for blue and (−10.4, 74.2) for yellow, for example.

摘要: A camshaft shaping machine that is capable of providing a camshaft shaped with a cam surface inclined with respect to the cam axis is disclosed. The machine includes a pair of work heads (2) for clamping a camshaft workpiece (4) at its opposed ends rotatably about a longitudinal axis of the workpiece; an X-axis slide (8) movable along an X-axis that extends horizontally in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the camshaft workpiece (4); and a Y-axis slide (11) movable along a Y-axis that horizontally extends in a direction orthogonal to the X-axis. An indexing table (13) is mounted on one of the X-axis and Y-axis slides (8. 11) so as to be turnable about a turning center (0) in a horizontal plane to angularly index and position, relative to the camshaft workpiece (4), a milling cutter (21) that is rotatably supported on a cutter head (20) to angularly mill the workpiece and thereby to permit an inclined cam surface to develop therein. The cutter head (20) is mounted on one of the Y-axis slide (11) and the indexing table (13) and operatively associated therewith.
