    摘要： A power cutting tool includes a housing, a motor accommodated in the housing, a cutting assembly optionally operated in a trimming mode or in an edging mode and being driven by the motor to rotate around a first axis, a handle assembly, an elongated shaft connecting the cutting assembly and the handle assembly, a guard mounted to the cutting assembly, and a wheel assembly including a wheel. The wheel assembly is optionally mounted at least a first mounting position and a second mounting position. The central axis of the wheel is substantially perpendicular to the first axis when the wheel assembly is mounted at the first mounting position and is substantially parallel to the first axis when the wheel assembly is mounted at the second mounting position.

    摘要： In a crop stripping apparatus for harvesting grain from standing crop, the height of an overhead hood (18) is adjusted in response to the position of the top of the crop. A sensor housing or nose (34) protrudes forwardly from the hood (18) and has a sloping undersurface (35) which contacts the crop. A pair of cooperating sensors (37) and (38) sense the position of the top of the crop by contact of one or both or neither of the sensors with the top of the crop. The crop slides along the undersurface (35) of the nose (34) with minimum disturbance to the grain heads by the effect of the sensing operation. The nose (34) is mounted in such a manner that the undersurface (35) is maintained at a constant inclination to the ground during vertical movement of the nose (34).

    摘要： A device for cutting the tops of crops in a crop bed includes a separator having an inlet, an outlet and an interior space defined between the two. A fan is in fluid communication with the separator and creates an air stream that flows into the separator inlet, through the interior space of the separator, and out the separator outlet. The air stream has an upstream end at or near the separator inlet, where air is pulled into the separator, and a downstream end at or near the fan and continuing beyond. A cutter is positioned upstream of the separator inlet. When the device is in operative position over a crop bed, the air stream lifts the tops of the crops into position to be cut by the cutter. The air stream carries the cut tops away from the crop bed.

A large diameter wheel (8) is rotatably mounted with respect to the cutting head (1), and a motor is provided for driving the cutter (5) via an output shaft (7). The cutting head (1) is connected to the shaft (2) by a joint (3) permitting the cutting head (1) to be positioned with its cutter (5) either substantially horizontal or substantially vertical. The wheel (8) is sized to contact the ground when the cutter (5) is substantially vertical and to circumscribed the axis of the output shaft (7). The arrangement is such that the cutter (5) extends beyond the circumference of the wheel (8).

    摘要： A machine for harvesting the overground foliage of a row crop growing in a field. The machine has a plurality of stripping wheels each for harvesting and disintegrating the foliage in one row of the crop. Each stripping wheel is arranged in a casing having an obliquely upwardly directed outlet, and produces an air stream for transporting the disintegrated foliage up through the outlet of the casing. In order to attain great cutting efficiency per time unit and keep the harvested material as clean as possible, the machine has a collecting channel connected at one end to an ejector pipe. The collecting channel extends above the stripping wheel casings which are arranged in a row one beside the other and whose outlets extend obliquely upwards in the same direction towards the ejector pipe and open at intervals one after the other into a lower portion of the collecting channel. Besides, the lower portion of the collecting channel is at that side of each outlet of the wheel casing that faces the ejector pipe, provided with nozzles for injecting additional air into the collecting channel substantially in the direction of the ejector pipe end of the collecting channel.

    摘要： A row crop rogue vehicle for removing rogue crops such as shatter cane, rye, weeds or the like. The seed heads of the rogue crops are taller than the cultivated crops in a field. The rogue vehicle is self-propelled with wheels mounted on the ends of hydraulic cylinders. The cylinders are used for raising the frame of the vehicle above the height of the cultivated crops. The wheels and cylinders are transversely adjustable on the vehicle frame to the direction of travel of the vehicle so that the wheels can ride between the crop rows of fields having different crop row widths. The front of the vehicle includes a cutting sickle and reel for cutting the rogue crops which are conveyed to a storage hopper mounted at the rear of the vehicle.
