摘要: An adaptive engine speed control system for a grass mowing machine having an internal combustion engine, a hydrostatic traction drive circuit and a hydraulic mowing circuit for operating a plurality of cutting units. A controller provides a traction feedback output signal if the grass mowing machine is moving at an actual ground speed that is below a pedal based desired ground speed, and uses the traction feedback output signal to command the internal combustion engine to an increased speed above a pedal based engine speed control range.

摘要: A vine removal device comprises a frame and a pair of spaced-apart vine agitators movably carried by the frame so as to form a vine-feeding maw or throat between the vine agitators. A driven vine-cutter is movably carried by the frame and driven relative to the frame, and is disposed in registration with the maw to receive and cut vines fed into the maw by the vine agitators. One or more drive mechanisms are drivingly coupled to the vine-cutter and the vine agitators to drive the vine-cutter and the vine agitators. The vine agitators capture the vines and feed them into the maw, where the vines are cut into mulch by the vine-cutter. A vine removal implement may comprise a plurality of the vine removal devices arranged in side-by-side relation to traverse along a series of sweet potato rows.

摘要: A material reducing apparatus is provided. The material reducing apparatus includes a hydraulic pump, a rotary reducing component, a primary hydraulic circuit, and a secondary hydraulic circuit. The primary hydraulic circuit includes a hydraulic motor that drives rotation of the rotary reducing component, an inlet line for delivering pressurized hydraulic fluid to an inlet of the hydraulic motor, and an outlet line for receiving the hydraulic fluid from an outlet of the hydraulic motor. The primary hydraulic circuit also includes at least one braking valve in fluid communication with the outlet line of the hydraulic motor, and a hydraulic accumulator in fluid communication with the inlet line. The hydraulic accumulator is sized to contain a stored volume of pressurized hydraulic fluid. The secondary hydraulic circuit includes an actuator that is selectively driven by pressurized hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic pump.

摘要: A packaged hydraulically operated gang mower assembly for mounting on an industrial type tractor. The assembly includes a U-shaped frame which connects to the tractor. The mowers are of the reel type and are driven by hydraulic motors. Hydraulically operated arms for raising, lowering the pulling the mowers are mounted on the frame. The side and rear mower arms are each individually raised and lowered. The underneath mower arms are raised and lowered by a single cylinder and piston. The mowers are supported by the ground during cutting operations and are connected to their arms so as to be free to follow the ground undulations both along and across the path of travel. Stability of the mowers during cutting is independent of their connections to their arms and is accomplished by the combination of front caster wheels and a rear roller on each mower. The hydraulic drive motors for the reels are arranged in at least two circuits with the motors in each circuit connected in series. Hydraulic fluid reservoirs for the drive motors are arranged to provide maximum cooling of the hydraulic fluid.

摘要: A brush cutter includes a center deck that is pivotally coupled to a first wing deck and a second wing deck. Each deck has a hydraulic cutting assembly. A mounting portion can be attached to a front carrier portion of a drive vehicle. The brush cutter has a hydraulic manifold operably coupled to each cutting assembly and configured to be operably coupled to a hydraulic system of the drive vehicle. The manifold includes valves that control the flow of drive fluid to the hydraulic cutting assemblies. Sensing arrangements signal the valves to shut off the drive fluid to the wing decks if the wing decks pivot upward from a lowered position to a first angular position. The sensing arrangements can optionally signal the drive vehicle's hydraulic system to reduce the flow of drive fluid to the hydraulic manifold for each wing deck that pivots upward to the angular position.

摘要: A cruise control system for use in connection with a control arm linked to a swash plate that is moveable to provide the swash plate with a plurality of non-discrete angular orientations to affect fluid displacement of a hydraulic pump and a return to neutral mechanism for moving the control arm from a driving position to a position in which the swash plate does not affect fluid displacement of the hydraulic pump. The cruise control system includes a cruise control arm having a portion occupying a plane in common with a portion of the control arm. The cruise control arm is moveable to place the portion of the cruise control arm into contact with the portion of the control arm to prevent the control arm from moving from one of a plurality of non-discrete forward driving positions to the neutral position under the influence of the return to neutral mechanism.

摘要: A mowing machine comprises a plurality of cutting units (4) powered by a parallel hydraulic system with distributing means (30). The cutting units (4) are each powered by a hydromotor (16), all hydromotors (16) being driven by a central hydraulic pump (P). The hydromotors (16) are fed in a parallel relationship by the pump (P). Ahead of the hydromotor (16) in each circuit, is a distributing means (30) with an inlet (26) from the pump (P), and two outlets, (31) back to the supply tank (V), and (33) to the corresponding hydromotor (16). When a hydromotor (16) is deactivated, distributing means (30) automatically diverts the fluid normally flowing through the deactivated hydromotor back to the supply tank (V). This diversion of fluid prevents changing the speed of the remaining hydromotors as a result of increased flow or pressure available due to the deactivated hydromotor.
