摘要: A disposable bib for catching food and liquids while feeding an infant or toddler. The disposable bib includes a panel. The panel has a bottom edge, a top edge, and a pair of side edges. The panel has a top layer, a middle layer and a bottom layer. The top layer comprises a relatively porous material, the middle layer comprises a relatively absorbent material, and the bottom layer comprises a relatively non-porous material. The panel has an opening therein positioned generally adjacent to the top edge.

摘要: An article of clothing includes a body portion and a limb portion (e.g. a sleeve or pant leg) coupled to the body portion. The limb portion includes an expandable portion and a zipper assembly configured such that the zipper may be adjusted to extend and retract the limb portion between a standard length, and an elongated length. Closing the zipper assembly adjusts the limb portion to the standard length, opening the zipper adjusts the limb portion to the elongated length. The elongated length is particularly well suited for use during activities where the wearer's arms or legs may be outstretched, such as motorcycling.

摘要: A method for making sheets and/or plates that are thermoformable as of a temperature of 80-90° C. and heat-tackifiable as of 80-90° C., and suitable for use as a heat-tackifiable reinforcing material. According to the method, 30-70 wt % of granules of one or more polymers that have a low melting point (50-90° C.) and are thermoformable as of 80-90° C. are mixed with 70-30 wt % of one or more polymers with a higher melting or softening point, in the form of granules or a powder having a particle size greater than around 500 &mgr;m, and preferably of 500-1000 &mgr;m, both kinds of polymers being thermoplastic and at least partially compatible, and optionally with the usual additives; the mixture is extruded under low-shear conditions at low temperatures of 100-140° C. to give a mixture having a pasty consistency that is insufficient to form a uniform mixture of molten polymers; and, after extrusion, and optionally once a fabric base (9,12) has been added to the extruded product, the product is laminated or calendered at a high pressure and at a temperature of around 100° C. to reduce the thickness thereof, then cooled to less than 30° C. before the end of the lamination or calendering process.

摘要: This invention provides clothes, wherein a fabric wale of one of parts (a) and (b) destined to be rubbed against each other is arranged so that it satisfies at least one of the following alternatives (i) and (ii): (i) it crosses with the fabric wale of another part at an angle of 35 to 145 degrees when the respective parts are placed so that their axial lines are kept parallel. (ii) it crosses with its axial line at an angle of 55 to 125 degrees. This invention provides clothes which can manifest the basic functions of the fabric such as water repellence, water pressure resistance, and good look & taste, can respond to the diversification of needs without impairing the basic functions of clothes and can reduce the rubbing noise and friction noise of clothes.

摘要: A flexible and protective support stay is disclosed. The support stay has insert tabs with rounded edges at both ends to reduce snags when inserting the stay into a garment. The flexibility of the stay is provided by a sinuous member that is independently flexible in two directions. This design enables the stay to flex and move with the wearer of the garment. Because the stay is made as an integrally formed plastic article, the probability that the device will shear and expose the wearer to sharp edges is significantly reduced.
