    摘要： A flexible cellular material is thermoregulated by compressing and expanding gas trapped in its cells A flexible elastomer material of a device that provide thermoregulation includes two layers of different shore hardness and conductivity and is has gas-filled cells. Each cell has a zone to store the gas when compressing the material in the layer C with higher hardness and thermal conductivity and another zone to expand the gas when decompressing the material in the layer D with lower hardness and thermal conductivity. The flexible material can be used as a sole in shoes to maintain a cool temperature. With each step, the cell zones located in the layer C act as adiabatic chambers whose gasses heat with compression. When the foot leaves the ground the zones of cells located in the layer D then act as a reactor nozzle that will expand the air and therefore cool it.

    摘要： Implementations of a clothing article with an integrated thermal regulation system are provided. In some implementation, a clothing article with an integrated thermal regulation system may be configured to heat a portion of a wearer's body by transferring heat from a warmer first region of the body (e.g., the calf portion of the leg or wrist portion of the arm) to a cooler second region (e.g., the plantar side of the toes or the dorsal side of the fingers). The transfer of heat is facilitated by a thermally conductive fluid that flows between a first thermal transfer bag in heat exchange contact with the warmer first region of the wearer's body and a second thermal transfer bag that is in heat exchange contact with the cooler second region, the thermal transfer bags being held in position by the clothing article into which they have been integrated.

    摘要： A warming device for use in cold environments has a flexible pocket with at least one triangular side gusset for receiving a shoe or boot. The warming device has a receiver for receiving a heat generating packet or fuel stick heating device. The warming device may be firmly attached to a shoe or boot by constricting laces, cords or straps so that the gusset is pleated into loose folds along the side of the boot or shoe with heat generating packet or fuel stick heating device pressed substantially flat against the wearer's instep. The sole of the warming device may be modified to provide an anti-slip surface, for example, by installing studs in the sole. The sole of the warming device may be modified to adapt to specialized shoes or boots, such as ice skates.
