摘要: A removing device for dentistry has a connecting pipe, a controller, and a sucking tube. The controller is connected to the connecting pipe and has two connecting portions and an operating portion between the two connecting portions. The two connecting portions connect in fluid communication with each other via the operating portion. One of the connecting portions is connected to the connecting pipe. The operating portion has at least one relief hole disposed on an external surface thereof and in fluid communication with the connecting portions and a flow regulator. The sucking tube is connected to the other connecting portion opposite to the connecting pipe to connect in fluid communication with the connecting pipe via the controller. By pressing the operating portion to shield the relief hole or adjust the flow regulator to control the suction force, the removing device for dentistry can be used conveniently and removed quickly.

摘要: A compact extraoral suction passage tip to help protect a dentist from infectious materials. The compact extraoral suction passage tip is made of an internal suction passage. The proximal end can be slid into a High Volume Evacuator (HVE) valve or other suctioning device, and the distal end can be placed near a patient's mouth to collect infectious materials and placed in a position that will not significantly impede dental operations. The distal end is shaped so that it can lie on or near the upper portion of a patient's bottom lip to provide suction capability. One embodiment contains ridges to help patients know where to hold the compact extraoral suction passage tip.

摘要: An oral device for improving airway patency comprises a tongue constraint and a negative pressure source. The tongue constraint engages the patient's tongue to maintain a clear region below the palate in an oral cavity. By applying a negative pressure in the clear region, an airway behind the soft palate or tongue of the patient can be maintained. The tongue constraint is usually connected to an anchor. The anchor may be held between the patient's teeth or may engage the inferior surface of the palate. Another oral device for improving airway patency comprises a lateral tongue structure and a negative pressure source.

摘要: In an aspirating unit for dental workstations the blower impeller of a vacuum pump (32), a propeller (84) and a pump impeller (68) sit on a common drive shaft (66). The drive shaft (66) is enclosed by a cyclone air extractor (34), the propeller (84) keeping foam components contained in the incoming air and fluid mixture clear of the air discharge connection of the cyclone fluid extractor (34). The pump impeller (68) conveys the fluid discharged at the bottom end of the cyclone fluid extractor (34) forcibly to the fluid outlet connection (28) of the aspirator.

摘要: Apparatus for recycling a fluid for use in flushing a dental cuspidor of the type having a bowl, a faucet for introducing the flushing fluid into the bowl and a drain in the bowl from which the fluid is conducted to the recycling system. The recycling system comprises means for separating sedimentary material from the fluid. After the sedimentary material has been separated from the fluid, the fluid is directed to a means for filtering the fluid. The filtered fluid is then pumped to a storage means which retains the fluid under pressure until it is conducted back to the cuspidor. The system includes means for backwashing the filter means as well as means for eliminating excess fluid from the sediment and filter means should fluid overflow occur therein. Also provided are means for partially or wholly bypassing the recycling portion of the apparatus to permit the introduction of a regulated amount of fresh fluid into the system.
