摘要: A system for separating components from a slurry of drilling fluid and drill cuttings on a shaker screen having an upper side and a lower side within a shaker. The system also has a pressure differential generator to pull an effective volume of air through a section of the shaker screen to enhance the flow of drilling fluid through the section of the shaker screen and the separation of drilling fluid from drill cuttings and further maintain an effective flow of drill cuttings off the shaker. A method of separating components of a slurry of drilling fluids and solids has the steps of delivering the slurry to a shaker, flowing the slurry over a first screen and applying an effective amount of vacuum to a first portion of the first screen to remove the drilling fluids from the slurry without stalling the solids on the first screen.

摘要: Described herein is an apparatus for separating sand or particulate matter from a hydrocarbon production stream, with the apparatus having a cylindrical upper portion forming an upper cavity and a cylindrical lower portion forming a lower cavity, with the upper cavity and lower cavity divided by a separator plate having a plurality of sand collection channels. As described herein, a production stream flows into the upper cavity, through the collection channels, where flow of the production stream is altered, depositing sand in the lower cavity, after which separated gas leaves the apparatus.

摘要: A separator assembly including a first cyclone, a second cyclone, and a sealing plate. The second cyclone assembly includes a plurality of second cyclone separators arranged fluidly in parallel. At least a portion of the plurality of second cyclone separators is arranged in a ring of cyclones spaced radially from an axis and connected by wall portions. The sealing plate surrounds a portion of each of the second cyclone separators, configured such that each of the second cyclone separators extends through a respective opening defined in the sealing plate. A flow path is defined between the first cyclone separator to the inlets of the second cyclone separators, at least a portion of the flow path being bounded by at least a portion of an upper surface of the sealing plate and the wall portions.

摘要: An asymmetric inlet particle separator system (AIPS) includes a bifurcated duct system that defines an inlet for receiving inlet air. The bifurcated duct system includes a core air channel and a scavenge air channel and is configured to separate the inlet air into core air and scavenge air. The scavenge air channel includes a first plurality of turning vanes configured to turn the scavenge air in a first direction and a second plurality of turning vanes configured to turn the scavenge air in a second direction. The AIPS also includes an asymmetric scroll coupled to the scavenge air channel. The asymmetric scroll includes a first arm having a first arm length and a second arm having a second arm length that is different than the first arm length.

摘要: A cyclone type liquid-vapor separator includes a chamber including: an internal space wherein the treatment liquid introduced into the internal space is depressurized and evaporated; a vapor outlet formed on a top of the chamber and through which vapors generated through the evaporation is discharged; and a concentrated liquid outlet formed on a bottom of the chamber and through which the concentrated treatment liquid is discharged; an inlet part coupled to a side surface of the chamber in a tangent line direction of an inner peripheral surface of the chamber, the treatment liquid introduced into the chamber is turned in the form of vortexes along the inner peripheral surface of the chamber, and at least one partition wall disposed in an area between the inlet part and the vapor outlet of the internal space of the chamber and protruding from the inner peripheral wall of the chamber to prevent mist contained in the vapors from moving upwardly.

摘要: According to the present invention there is provided a separation device for separating a fluid, said fluid comprising multiple components, into at least two components comprising: a support structure; at least one conduit mounted on or within said support structure for rotation about an axis; at least one inlet for introducing a flow of said fluid into said at least one conduit; and at least one outlet for outputting at least one of said components therefrom; wherein the said at least one conduit is configured such that, in use, when said flow of said fluid is applied thereto, said conduit is thereby caused to rotate on or within said support structure about said axis, thereby separating said fluid into at least two components.
