摘要: The present invention provides systems and methods for determining the coordinates of a location element mounted on a medical probe. First and second signals are transmitted between the location element and a first and second reference transducers, which may be arranged in a reference array that can be attached to a patient's skin. A transit time difference between the first and second signals is determined, e.g., using a thresholding or correlation technique. A distance difference between a first distance extending from the location element to the first reference element and a second distance extending from the location element to the second reference element is then determined based on the transit time difference. An angle between the reference array and the location element can then be determined based on the determined distance difference and a known distance between the first and second reference transducers. The coordinates of the location element within a coordinate system are then determined based on the determined angle and the distance between the transducer array and the location element.

摘要: A head mounted display includes a head suspension apparatus and a display coupled thereto. In a stationary state, the display is maintained in a desired position relative to the head suspension apparatus. Further, in a release state, the display is always freely movable both vertically and horizontally relative to the head suspension apparatus. In addition, the display may also always be freely rotatable about an axis of the display as well as vertically and horizontally. The coupling of the display to the head suspension apparatus may be attained using a slide bar and hinge mechanism that forms a rigid triangular structure when the display is in the stationary state. Further, the head suspension apparatus may include an adjustable temporal support element for positioning about the circumference of a user's head and an adjustable crown support connected to the temporal support with the crown support including channels for allowing electrical connection lines to move freely therein.

摘要: In certain embodiments, a vial adaptor for removing liquid contents from a vial includes a piercing member and a bag. The bag can be contained within the piercing member such that the bag is introduced to the vial when the vial adaptor is coupled with the vial. In some embodiments, the bag expands within the vial as liquid is removed from the vial via the adaptor, thereby regulating pressure within the vial. In other embodiments, a vial includes a bag for regulating pressure within the vial as liquid is removed therefrom. In some embodiments, a vial adaptor is coupled with the vial in order to remove the liquid. In some embodiments, as the liquid is removed from the vial via the adaptor, the bag expands within the vial, and in other embodiments, the bag contracts within the vial.
