摘要: A method and an apparatus for cleaning industrial pipe systems, preferably pipe systems used in food industry, such as meat, fish and vegetable industry. The method for cleaning industrial pipe systems, includes the steps of feeding a detergent together with liquid and granules, having a diameter, in batches only into a small part of a pipe, having a cross-section, to be cleaned, whereby one wash batch has a volume in liters, which is 0.05-0.3 times the numerical value of the cross-section in square centimeters of the pipe, creating a negative pressure in the pipe, and bringing the wash batch to flow in the pipe by means of the negative pressure for cleaning and mechanically treating the walls of the pipe. The apparatus includes a washing center that functions as a source of the batches cleaning the pipe.

摘要: A magnetic unit 12 having yokes 15 made of magnetic material, with a permanent magnet on one end and a magnet treatment part 14 contacting a conduit 11 through which fluids move on the other end, is utilized for the purpose of treating fluids by exposure to the line of magnetic force. A plurality of the magnetic units 12 are arranged such that the N and S magnetic poles generated at the magnetic treatment parts 14 alternate along the flow path of the fluids.

摘要: An improved composition and method for cleaning and disinfecting a garbage disposal that does not require aerosol propellants or carbon dioxide gas generating reaction systems. The composition comprises a suds stabilizing surfactant and a disinfecting agent, plus other optional ingredients such as additional detergent surfactant and scouring agents. In the method of cleaning and disinfecting, a flow of water is provided to the garbage disposal and the composition is then added while the garbage disposal is turned on. The mechanical action of the garbage disposal grinder blades rapidly mixes the composition with water to create suds and disperse the suds around the entire interior chamber, thus cleansing and disinfecting the garbage disposal. After the suds are generated, the flow of water is discontinued, with the garbage disposal being turned off within about 1 minute after the flow of water is discontinued.

摘要: A modular gas control device for use with a compressed gas cylinder (111) comprises a primary module (152) and a secondary module (252) mounted on the primary module. The primary module comprises a first supporting body (154) having a first main gas flow path (155) through the body. The supporting body has input connecting means (156) for mounting the body on the cylinder (111) and connecting the gas flow path (155) to communicate with the gas cylinder through a first flow path (157). Pressure reducing means (166) provides gas in the flow path at a lower pressure than in the container. Output connecting means (170) downstream of the pressure reducing means provides a low pressure outlet from the main gas flow path. A high pressure shut-off valve (164) is positioned upstream of the pressure reducing means, and filling means (161, 160) allows filling of the cylinder with compressed gas through the input connecting means (156) along a second flow path (159) separate from the input flow path (157). The secondary module (252) has a corresponding supporting body (254) and main flow path (255) and corresponding output connecting means (270) and corresponding input connecting means (256) for mounting the secondary module (252) on the primary module (152). The supporting body (254) of the secondary module has a combination of two or more functional components comprising means for measuring and/or varying parameters of gas flow in the second supporting body, and/or for switching and/or venting and/or mixing gas flow in the second supporting body.

摘要: A method of cleaning potable liquid flow lines employing a high pH caustic cleaning solution or a low pH acid cleaning solution with a stable dye in sufficient concentration so as to have a visible color when the solution is further diluted. The cleaning solution is pumped through the lines. The lines then are flushed with clean water until no colored solution is discharged from the lines, indicating the lines have been purged of cleaning solution. The method can be used with draft beer, soft drink or other potable liquid flow lines to prevent inadvertent consumption of caustic cleaning solution along with subsequently dispensed potable liquid.

摘要: The cartridge holder comprises a lower jaw with a drain connector and an upper jaw with a supply connector. A cartridge may be placed between both jaws, the nipples of the cartridge being connected with the connectors. For flushing or disinfecting, the upper jaw is lowered to the lower jaw. An intermediate jaw, previously swivelled to the side, is automatically aligned with the lower jaw so that it interconnects the connectors of the outer jaws. The connectors of the outer jaws are alike. The intermediate jaw is provided with connection elements fitting into the connectors. Thus, it acts as an adapter.

摘要: A method and apparatus for desorbing processing liquid from a processing liquid delivery line is provided. Non-thermal energy, such as ultrasonic energy or electromagnetic energy, is applied to a processing liquid delivery line. The non-thermal energy may be applied directly to the processing liquid delivery line, or may be applied indirectly via a conducting medium which distributes the energy along the length of the processing liquid delivery line. When non-thermal energy in the form of electromagnetic energy is employed, the frequency of the electromagnetic energy is adjusted to match the vibrational frequency of the absorbed molecules of processing liquid.

摘要: A method of improving the operation of a gas pipeline having at least some water therein including the steps of introducing into the interior of the pipeline a soluble soap pig that is dimensioned to move through the pipeline by gas flow, the composition of the soap pig being selected such that at least some soap is applied as a film to the interior wall as the soap pig moves through the pipeline and in which the soap pig slowly dissolves within the pipeline. The soap film preferably has anti-corrosive and/or antibacterial properties.
