    摘要: Ultrasonic cleaning apparatuses and methods of cleaning substantially planar articles. An apparatus comprises (i) a substantially circular tank; (ii) a plurality of cleaning fluid inlets for delivering a cleaning fluid to the tank; (iii) an intermediate support for receiving an article to be cleaned; and (iv) an ultrasonic generator coupled to the tank for generating ultrasonic waves in the tank and cleaning fluid received therein. The apparatus is configured to remove particles from a substantially planar article and have them carried by flow of cleaning fluid away from the article and out of the tank. Using such an apparatus, a cleaning method comprises introducing a substantially planar article to be cleaned into the tank; introducing a cleaning fluid into the tank through the plurality of cleaning fluid inlets; and exciting the cleaning fluid with ultrasonic waves.

    摘要: A central venous catheter comprises an ultrasound assembly. In one arrangement, the radiating member is used to remove a blockage from the central venous catheter. In another arrangement, inserting an ultrasound assembly into a central venous catheter. The ultrasound assembly comprises an ultrasound radiating member mounted on an elongate support structure. The method further comprises positioning the ultrasound assembly within the central venous catheter such that the ultrasound radiating member is adjacent to a deposited material formed on a portion of the central venous catheter. The method further comprises supplying an electrical current to the ultrasound radiating member to expose the deposited material to ultrasonic energy. The method further comprises passing a therapeutic compound through the central venous catheter to expose the deposited material to the therapeutic compound simultaneously with ultrasonic energy.

    摘要: An exemplary dust removing apparatus applicable for removing dust or dirt from a surface of an optical lens is provided. The dust removing apparatus includes an ultrasonic oscillation device, at least a dust removing device, and a tray. The ultrasonic oscillation device is configured for causing an ultrasonic vibration of the optical lens so as to weaken an adhesive force between the optical lens and the dust on the surface thereof. The dust removing device is configured for removing the dust from the surface of the optical lens. The tray is disposed on the ultrasonic oscillation device and located between the ultrasonic oscillation device and the dust removing device. The tray is configured for supporting the optical lens. A dust removing method is also provided.

    摘要: A portion of a borehole wall is isolated from surrounding borehole fluids by placing a chamber of a borehole tool against the borehole wall. The chamber comprises a cylindrical recess in an exterior surface of the borehole tool. The recess is open at one end to receive borehole fluids, and closed at the opposite end by a concave ultrasonic acoustic transducer. Mudcake present within the chamber and on the isolated portion of the borehole wall is disintegrated by the concave ultrasonic transducer. This approach can be used to remove mudcake from a borehole wall with a moving or stationary borehole tool.
