    摘要: The present invention relates to a hot coiling machine, and an object of the invention is to provide a hot coiling machine that produces coil springs having various coil shapes and diameters from a heated wire without a mandrel. The present invention provides a hot coiling machine including: a center roll rotating by a drive unit; a feeding roll disposed near the center roll and facing an external surface of the center roll, the center roll being configured to move by a first positioning unit and being rotated by a drive unit thus moving a wire together with the center roll; a forming roll for forming the wire into a coil shape; and a pitch control unit disposed near the forming roll to come into contact with the coiled wire and pushing the coiled wire to provide the coiled wire with a desired pitch.

    摘要: An automatic spring formation apparatus includes a base on which an upright work table is mounted. A number of linear motion spring formation tools and at least a curved motion spring formation tool are slidably mounted on the front working surface to work on a wire fed through a wire feed passage formed on the work table so as to form a spring by being driven by independent servo motors under the control of a computerized numeric control unit. The linear motion spring formation tools are movable on the front working surface in a linear way along a radial direction pointing out from the wire feed passage while the curved motion spring formation tool is not only linearly movable on the front working surface along a radial direction pointing out from the wire feed passage, but also rotatable about a pivot normal to the working surface so as to move in a combination of linear translation and angular rotation.

    摘要: The invention relates to a wire shaping device. State of the art: DE 39 15 784 C1 discloses a wire shaping device comprising a program controlled rotating and displacing head which carries shaping tools and on to which moves the wire arriving from a stationary wire intake device. DE 22 64 589 C3 discloses, in the context of a spiral spring winding machine, a device for simultaneously taking in and twisting the incoming wire for producing an initial tension in the spring body. One disadvantage of the known wire shaping device is the relatively limited shapes of wire which can be produced. It is an object of this invention to improve the known wire shaping device for the purpose of increasing the range of finished shapes of the wire structures. The solution to this problem lies in a combination of the known twisting device with the known wire shaping device so that the wire intake device is rotatable about the axis of the wire and is program controlled, optionally also in its direction of feed (backwards as well as forwards). The advantage of this solution is the additional degree of freedom of the wire movement, which increases the shaping possibilities.

    摘要: A low cost, lightweight, helically preformed line tie is disclosed which is configured for yieldably securing an elongated conductor or the like to various standard sizes of conventional, grooved insulative supports without the need for specialized ties by provision of a unitary, substantially shape-retaining resilient metallic wire tie which includes a central, generally U-shaped, line-receiving bight and a pair of legs extending therefrom which have intermediate sections adjacent the bight and helically formed line-gripping terminal sections; in preferred forms, the intermediate sections include a pair of interconnected, generally straight segments disposed at an angle relative to each other, and the intermediate sections are wrapped under tension about the support body with the helical leg sections secured about the line for yieldably securing the latter to the support without creation of localized, rigidly held stress areas at the line support points which can lead to premature line failure by virtue of bending movements of the line at the support points. In this manner characteristic wind-induced line vibrations can be safely and effectively dampened along a relatively long length of the line adjacent the insulator which reduces wear and tear of the line. A simplified tie forming method is also provided which permits essentially automatic, assembly line production of the ties through the use of sequential bend-forming stations and a unique mandrel-type helical forming station which completely eliminates complicated forming implements and methods heretofore employed.

    摘要: Helical tension spring having a spring body and two eyelets or loops integrally formed with the body of the spring at the ends thereof, the free ends of the eyelets contacting the end coils of the spring body. Each eyelet is under a prestress force which has to be overcome in order to lift the eyelet from the adjacent end coil of the spring body, such pre-stress force being larger than the force applied at the eyelet, which force is necessary to separate the coils of the spring body by a certain distance.The invention also relates to a process of producing the above spring. At both of the end coils of the spring body there is formed a wire section in a plane approximately normal to the spring body. Such wire section as a whole is bent in the plane containing the axis of the spring body, and the wire section is formed into an eyelet by means of a force acting in the direction of the axis of the spring body, such force being applied approximately in the middle of the wire section as being a tensional force which plastically and elastically deforms the eyelet, so that the end sections of the eyelet elastically contact the end coils of the spring body.
