    摘要: Boring bar structure including an adapter having an axis of rotation, an eccentric bore through said adapter having a longitudinal axis parallel to but offset from the axis of rotation of the adapter, adapter spline structure in one end of the bore concentric with the bore, a cylindrical boring bar body having concentric spline structure on one end thereof adapted to mesh with the adapter spline structure in adjusted relative angular positions, the one end of the boring bar body being adapted to fit within the eccentric bore in the adapter with the spline structures in mesh, whereby a cutting tool secured to the other end of the boring bar body may be adjusted radially of the axis of rotation of the adapter on axial movement of the boring bar body within the eccentric bore in the adapter and relative angular movement of the adapter and boring bar body and subsequent meshing of the spline structure with the adapter and bar in a different angular relation.The boring bar body has an angular, axially central external groove therearound which has a V-shaped cross section which is within the adapter with the one end of the boring bar body in the adapter bore. A set screw is provided extending through the adapter into the bore to engage one face of the angular groove and thus set the relative axial position of the boring bar body and adapter with the splined structures engaged. A limiting screw extends perpendicularly through the adapter into the bore and into the groove in the boring bar body whereby relative axial movement between the boring bar body and the adapter is limited to that necessary to engage and disengage the spline structures for relative angular adjustment of the boring bar body and adapter to radially adjust a cutting tool secured to the other end of the boring bar body.

    摘要: A back spotfacer comprised of a cutting arm mounted in a slotted post on one end of a driving bar so as to be swingable between an inoperative position along the axis of the driving bar and an operative position in the radial direction thereof. A rod slidably extending through the driving bar may be operatively connected with the cutting arm by a rack-and-pinion mechanism to turn the latter between its inoperative and operative positions. A holder having a shank to be inserted in the machine spindle supports the backward end of the driving bar for rotation therewith, in such a manner that when the holder is pressed toward the driving bar, only the rod will be thrusted forwardly to turn and retain the cutting arm in its operative position.

    摘要: A tool quick-stop device for a lathe has a base, bottom plate, front side plate, rear side plate, right side plate, left side plate, top fixed plate, tool bar, cam lever, buffer spring, cylindrical guide rail, adjusting nut, first locking nut, double end stud, second locking nut, pressure spring, pressing plate, hold-down bolt and pin shaft. The cam lever supports the tool bar before tool falling. When tool falling is required, the cam lever is rotated through external force. When the cam lever rotates over a certain position, the tool bar instantaneously loses supporting force. Under strong pressure of the pressure spring, the tool bar falls the tool with great acceleration and is separated from the cutting region in a short period of time and the cutting root is frozen.

    摘要: The invention relates to a tool-holder for machine tools, particularly boring machines, of the type having a cylindrical body which is traversed by a slot shaped whereby that part of the body which supports the tool is displaceable resiliently relative to the remaining part of the body in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the body. Hydraulic means are provided for effecting the transverse displacement of the tool support part to adjust the position of the tool in a radial direction. According to the invention, these hydraulic means are arranged to exert a substantially uniform pressure to the outer surface of the body of the tool-holder.

    摘要: A micrometrically adjusted tool arm assembly for mounting on a spindle or a non-rotating support has a tool arm with a mount thereon for generally centrally supporting a tool bar. Only the end sections of the arm are secured to a base support and a slot system extends axially through the arm so that the central section can move radially relative to the ends of the arm. A micrometrically adjustable positioner mechanism engages the central section in a position relative to the slot system to provide a rigid backup for the tool bar. When the assembly is mounted on a spindle a releasable lock is provided which functions to deform the slot system and move the central section radially to engage positioner mechanism at a preselected position.
