Abstract:
A cylindrical cutting tool for processing splines formed on an outer circumference of a shaft member to extend in an axial direction includes blade portions which are formed in a spline shape on an inner circumference. The blade portions include: a first blade portion which is formed in a terminal end portion in a first direction along the axial direction and which is directed substantially toward the first direction; and a second blade portion which is formed in a terminal end portion in a second direction along the axial direction and opposite to the first direction and which is directed substantially toward the second direction.
Abstract:
A device for the internal deburring of a pipe or shaped tubular member, such as for removing the inwardly projecting portion of an axially extending seam, includes a support body elongated in the axial direction of the pipe. A cutting ring is clamped externally to the support body adjacent one of its ends. The cutting ring has an axis extending transversely of the axis of the pipe. The support body is constructed so that the cutting ring can turn in the rotational direction around the axis of the pipe.
Abstract:
An apparatus comprises a body having V-shaped two-arm levers mounted thereon. Around the periphery of the body there are mounted cutting tool holders pivoted each to one arm of each of the levers. Secured to the body are drives for turning the levers and each connected with the other arm of each of the levers. On the front and rear ends of the cutting tool holders there are mounted rollers in contact with the inside surface of the pipe. Rigidly attached to the cutting tool holders are cutting tools.
Abstract:
A device used for presses, shears, punching equipment and the like having a central shaft, radially actuated pistons, and two bilateral portions for distributing the drive fluid of the central shaft and for locking the shaft in work sequence, the first bilateral portion for fluid distribution having a rotary body with two ducts for input and output of pressurized fluid and for actuating said pistons, the second bilateral portion having stoppage means for locking the shaft.
Abstract:
A locking mechanism for a hydraulically actuated movable rod member of a machine tool, such as the electrode tool holder of an electro-erosion machining apparatus, consisting of a locking member preferably in the form of an annular expansible member surrounding a linearly and/or angularly displaceable rod member and normally biased in engagement with the surface of the rod member. The annular member is supported by a stationary element of the machine and normally engages the rod member so as to immobilize it in a predetermined position as long as the machine servo mechanism is activated. When the machine servo mechanism is activated, pressurized fluid is introduced in a chamber dependent from the annular member, causing an expansion of the annular member releasing the rod member for normal actuation thereof by the servo mechanism.
Abstract:
The piston of a pneumatic actuator is releasably locked in extended position by a hydraulic device responsive to the air pressure in the actuator cylinder. A hydraulic supply reservoir feeds hydraulic fluid through a check valve to a chamber containing a displacement piston attached to the actuator piston so that the pistons are permitted to move to extended position but prevented from returning. A controllable release valve bypassing the check valve is provided to allow return of the hydraulic fluid from the chamber to the reservoir to permit retraction of the actuator piston.
