摘要： A glass cutting apparatus has a spindle rotatably held and a saw blade provided on the spindle at a tip portion thereof. An upper portion of the blade is covered with a top cover. A lower portion of the blade, which protrudes from a lower portion of the top cover downward, is covered with a swingably safety cover held through a second ball bearing provided at an outer periphery of a bearing case. A fixing member between the bearing case and the blade is provided with a seal cover member which has a tip portion extending to the neighborhood of an outer periphery of a seal member for covering the bearing. Thereby, the seal cover member covers the seal member on a blade side thereof. Thus, the glass-cutting apparatus can eliminate a danger of touching its saw blade by mistake at the time of non-operation.

摘要： A shaving aid delivery system for a razor assembly includes a cartridge assembly having a reservoir for storing a fluid shaving aid and skin care topicals, and channels for communicating the shaving aid to a shaving surface of the cartridge assembly. A spring driven piston assembly drives shaving aid from the reservoir to the shaving surface. A clutch assembly controls the movement of the piston assembly, the clutch assembly being movable between an engaged position wherein the movement of the piston assembly is prevented and a released position wherein the movement of the piston assembly is permitted. The clutch assembly is movable to the released position in response to a force applied to the shaving surface of the cartridge. A visual indicator alerts the user as to the amount of shaving aid remains in the reservoir and when replacement is due.

摘要： A chamber is formed in the upper end of a brush saw cutting head housing. The brush saw cutting element drive spindle's upper end projects into the chamber. The drive spindle's lower end projects beneath the housing and is drivingly couplable to the cutting element. A disc is mounted against the underside of the cutting element. A cavity is formed in the disc. At least one channel extends through the disc, between the cavity and the disc's external rim. An aperture extends through the drive spindle, between the chamber and the cavity. Herbicide supplied to the chamber flows from the chamber, through the drive spindle aperture, into the cavity. The drive spindle rotates the disc. Centrifugal force imposed on herbicide within the cavity forces the herbicide through the channel(s) onto the underside of the cutting element, for transfer onto the stumps of material cut by the element.

The light from the LED is transmitted through the front guard along the optical path, illuminating a workpiece (W) immediately forward of the blade without significant scattering or diffusion.
