摘要： A dust and debris shield for a power hand tool is disclosed. According to the invention, the invention includes a bifurcated dust and debris shield that is readily affixed to a wide variety of power hand tools utilizing material processing heads. The shield is comprised of two primary shield components including a material processing head encompassing portion to be affixed to the power hand tool about an axial housing of the power hand tool, and a complementary-shaped outer housing portion to be engaged and disengaged with the head encompassing portion, the outer housing portion further including an exhaust tube for coupling to a suction or vacuum hose. According to one embodiment, the outer housing portion is engaged with the head encompassing portion in a nesting engagement achieved with a sliding fit therebetween, and the head encompassing portion is removably secured to the power hand tool with a generally circular clamping arrangement about the power output shaft housing through which the driving power shaft extends for securing the material processor head.

摘要： An automated tube trimming system accurately trims tubes to the correct height and angle. The tube trimming system is a combination of an automated trimming saw and a unique spherical tube clamping system. A spherical clamp having a fixed clamp section and an internal swivel portion is used to clamp a tube at an appropriate angle for cutting in an automated tube trimming saw. The spherical clamp may be tightened onto the tube at an angle appropriate to provide the correct mating cut to easily weld to a second mating tube section or fitting. Conventional methods cut perpendicular to the direction of the tube, thereby requiring time consuming and labor intensive grinding and deburring. The ability to provide accurate and simple formation of trimmed tubes may be useful in a wide variety of industries where the movement of air and fluid through tubes is performed.

摘要： A chamber is formed in the upper end of a brush saw cutting head housing. The brush saw cutting element drive spindle's upper end projects into the chamber. The drive spindle's lower end projects beneath the housing and is drivingly couplable to the cutting element. A disc is mounted against the underside of the cutting element. A cavity is formed in the disc. At least one channel extends through the disc, between the cavity and the disc's external rim. An aperture extends through the drive spindle, between the chamber and the cavity. Herbicide supplied to the chamber flows from the chamber, through the drive spindle aperture, into the cavity. The drive spindle rotates the disc. Centrifugal force imposed on herbicide within the cavity forces the herbicide through the channel(s) onto the underside of the cutting element, for transfer onto the stumps of material cut by the element.
