The hacksaw with a reciprocating blade includes a U-shaped housing with a hacksaw blade. A motor assembly is positioned in the interior of the housing. A pair of cam members for converting rotational motion into linear motion are rotatably coupled to the housing. A pair of drive pulleys are coupled to the cam members with one being coupled to the motor assembly. A plurality of idler pulleys are positioned in the interior of the housing. A drive belt links the motor assembly and a second drive pulley. A power source powers the motor assembly. An actuator selectively provides power from the power source to the motor assembly. A holding mechanism for selectively holds the hacksaw blade stationary in conjunction with the motor assembly.

    摘要: A system for cutting a given portion of a surface of a core insert includes a piezoelectric actuator, a turning tool, a rotating member, a driving unit and a numerically-controlled unit. The controlling unit stores coordinates of the storing coordinates of each point on the given portion of the surface in a predetermined coordinate system, and compares the instant coordinates of the cutting portion of the turning tool with the stored coordinates of the given portion, thus controlling the piezoelectric actuator to drive the turning tool to cut the given portion of the surface if the coordinates of the cutting portion of the turning tool match with the stored coordinates of any point on the given portion of the surface.

    摘要: A planar robot for cutting products, such as pieces of meat. The product is displaced along a conveyor or positioned onto a working table and is cut by a tool, preferably a water jet. The tool is held by a pair of arms. The arms have first extremities pivotally mounted on mobile bases. The arms also have second extremities pivotally connected to each other. An actuator displaces each of the mobile bases in order to control the position of the cutting tool in a plane above the conveyor or table.

    摘要: A scroll saw for cutting complex contours in a work piece with minimal vibration. The inventive device includes a substantially U-shaped main body having horizontally extending legs between which a saw blade is reciprocally mounted. A cogged belt extends over a plurality of guide pulleys and terminates at opposed ends of the saw blade. A drive pulley is oscillated by an electric motor and engages the belt to effect reciprocation of the saw blade. An air pump is also mechanically powered by the drive pulley for removing dust particles from the work area. Also included is a vibration reduction system and further a saw lubrication system.
