    摘要: The present invention describes a method for manufacturing rotogravure cylinders with a cylinder base made of aluminum. The method involves the coating of the cylinder surface with high velocity spraying, the copper plating in an appropriate solution, the engraving of the cylinder, and the hardening of the cylinder by chromium plating. The spraying process is accomplished by High-Velocity Air-Fuel or High-Velocity Oxygen-Fuel thermal spraying which leads to less surface porosity, better adhesion of the copper substrate and better dimensional accuracy. The advantage of this method is the elimination of the surface roughening process and the elimination of the preplating process. In addition, the end plates are manufactured partly from aluminum and partly from steel which further reduces the total weight of the cylinder. The elimination of these processes reduces the weight of the cylinder and the overall manufacturing time considerably.

    摘要: A printing cylinder assembly comprises a cylinder shell with opposite open ends. Cylinder heads are received into the opposite open ends of the shell and include stub axle shafts which project outwardly in opposite directions. The shell open ends are reinforced by collet rings having an internally tapered collet face matched to receive a correspondingly tapered face on the cylinder heads. The opposite axle shafts are both bored coaxially to receive an end-to-end drawbolt. Internally, the cylinder heads have a sleeved socket to receive one end of respective graphite fiber tubes. At opposite ends, the graphite tubes are terminated into respective pin and socket joints. In assembly, the cylinder heads are faced to the sleeve collets with the graphite tube pin and socket joints meshed. The drawbolt is inserted along the axis length of the assembly and drawn tight by washer-nut fasteners.

    摘要: A gravure printing plate capable of printing straight image lines with high accuracy. The gravure printing plate is a gravure printing plate for printing an image line including a straight image line constituted by a first contour line and a second contour line. The gravure printing plate includes a cell group including a reference cell for printing the first contour line, and image line composition cells present in a projection portion in which the reference cell is projected up to the second contour line in a direction orthogonal to the first contour line. The dimension of each cell of the reference cell and the image line composition cells in the same cell group in an extension direction of the first contour line is within ±5% of an arithmetic average value of the reference cell and the image line composition cells in the same cell group.
