摘要： A device and a method for folding a print substrate web is disclosed. The device has devices for quarter folding and for cross-cutting the print substrate web for severing individual products as well as devices for cross folding. As viewed in the transport direction of the products, an arrangement for dividing the product stream is provided after a second quarter folding device, the arrangement conveying the successive products to a first and a second conveyor belt in an alternating manner.

摘要： With a method for transmitting process-control data before and/or during a printing process for the production of printed products in a printing press, the data are detected at least with the aid of at least one print mark that is effectively connected to a printed product. The data obtained from the print mark are transmitted and/or transferred to at least one processing unit that is arranged downstream of the printing operation. Within the printing process, the data obtained from the print mark are subjected continuously to at least one redundant check in at least one downstream-arranged processing unit, with respect to the data determined during the integral printing process and/or with respect to a further processing location for the printed products which is specified ahead of time.

摘要： A discharged-sheet table device mounted to an image forming apparatus near the sheet discharging port for receiving a recorded sheet discharged from the sheet discharging port of the image forming apparatus. The discharged-sheet table device includes a first base mounted near the sheet discharging port of the image forming apparatus; a second base movably supported on the first base; a discharged-sheet table movably mounted on the second base to receive the recorded sheet which is discharged from the image forming apparatus; a table moving mechanism for movably holding the discharged-sheet table between a first position where the recorded sheet discharged from the sheet discharging port is received and a second position located forwardly of the first position in the direction in which the recorded sheet is discharged from the sheet discharging port; and a first base moving mechanism disposed between the first base and the second base, for movably holding the second base between the second position and a third position offset in a direction horizontally from the direction in which the recorded sheet is discharged from the sheet discharging port. To remove a stack of papers from the discharged-sheet table, an operator moves the discharged-sheet table from the first position to the second position forward of the first position and away from the discharging port, and then to moves the discharged-sheet table from the second position the third position which is laterally offset from the first and second positions.

The detector detects a moving amount of suction wheels moved by adjustment and generates a signal corresponding to the moving amount. The control unit is connected to the detector and a timing unit of the printing press and generates a signal representing a predetermined length corresponding to the sheet size. The solenoid is located between a powder container and an air source and opens an air path for only a time interval corresponding to the signal supplied from the control unit.

摘要： A conveyor device which is equipped with grippers secured to a chain structure is arranged beneath a rotary bucket or fan wheel of a printing machine, typically a printing press. These grippers engage trailing edges of the printed products which still abut against at least one stripper wheel. The printed products are thus fixedly retained before departing from the rotary bucket or fan wheel. By means of a revolvingly driven belt, which engages at the trailing edges of the printed products, these printed products are displaced or stuffed into the associated compartment or bucket of the rotary bucket or fan wheel prior to their engagement by the grippers. The printed products thus assume a defined position within the compartments or buckets, thus rendering possible the subsequent positionally-correct removal of the printed products from the compartments or buckets of the rotary bucket or fan wheel.

摘要： A stream of shingled printed products coming off a press at high speed, with variable speed of conveyance and with variable shingle spacing, has alternate products divided into two streams conveyed at reduced speed. Thus two cyclically driven chains present alternating gripper links at a pickup station to grip and transport the alternate products along diverging paths for release on a corresponding pair of conveyor lines for the divided product streams. To conform with varying speeds and spacings, the gripper chain drive is synchronized to operate the grippers as each individual product arrives.

摘要： A sheet deliverer adapted for use with rotary printing machines includes a continuous chain having gripping members carried thereon for gripping the leading edge portions of printed sheets and delivering the printed sheets to a product collection site, at least the downstream section of the continuous chain being substantially horizontally disposed above the product collection site. Guide yokes are provided to supplement a developed air cushion on the undersides of the printed and are adjustable so as to contact the printed sheets only at the print-free margins thereof to prevent destruction of the printed portions of the sheets during conveyance.

摘要： A numbering assembly is disclosed, which is incorporated into a conventional press of the offset type and may selectively be rendered inoperative if numbering is not desired or printing is stopped, or automatically deactuated during the operation of the offset press if no printed material is discharged to avoid movement or change of numbers on the register in the absence of printed material on which a number is to be printed. The numbering assembly according to the invention comprises an improved control assembly including a first electrical circuit comprising a detection device responsive to the presence and absence of gripped material, a first normally open switch and a solenoid connected in series. The control assembly also includes a second electrical circuit which comprises a main switch, a relay connected to the first circuit in parallel to the solenoid, and the said solenoid, all connected in series. When actuated, the solenoid operates mechanical means which brings the numbering machine in operative position so that the number to be impressed be stepped each time a sheet of printed material is passing through the numbering machine.
