摘要： Ink-based digital printing systems useful for ink printing include a rotatable charge-retentive reimageable surface layer configured to receive a layer of fountain solution. The fountain solution is carried to the charge retentive surface by a fog or mist including fountain solution aerosol particles, dispersed gas particles, and charge directors that impart charge to the fountain solution aerosol particles. The charge-retentive reimageable surface may be charged to a uniform potential, and selectively discharged using an ROS according to image data to form an electrostatic latent image. The charged fountain solution adheres to portions of the charge-retentive reimageable surface according to the electrostatic latent image to form a fountain solution image thereon. The fountain solution image can be partially transferred to an imaging blanket, where the fountain solution image is inked. The resulting ink image may be transferred to a print substrate.

The pattern transfer device may include a printing plate stage to load a printing plate having a pattern of a predetermined shape, and a substrate stage to load a substrate on which the pattern formed on the printing plate is to be printed. The pattern transfer device also includes a pressure unit configured with the printing plate stage to apply pressure to the printing plate, and a printing unit to transfer the pattern formed on the printing plate to the substrate.

摘要： A method for producing a metal thin film on a substrate includes: a step of applying an ink to a flat blanket; a first transfer step of bringing the first blanket and a letterpress having a predetermined pattern of projections into contact by a pressure compression while the flat blanked and the letterpress being disposed opposite each other, to selectively transfer a portion of the ink on the flat blanket corresponding to the projections to the letterpress; a second transfer step of bringing the flat blanket obtained after the first transfer step and the substrate into contact by pressure compression while the flat blanket and the substrate being disposed opposite each other, to transfer the ink remaining on the flat blanket to the substrate; and a step of subjecting the substrate obtained after the second transfer step to electroless plating to deposit a metal thin film on the substrate.

The printing press also includes a common blanket cylinder. The printing press also includes a first transfer body for receiving the first image from the common blanket cylinder and transferring the first image to a web and a second transfer body for receiving the second image from the common blanket cylinder and transferring the second image to the web.
