摘要: A wheel holder (1) for clamping attachment to a wheel (9), in particular to a wheel (9) of a motor vehicle, and for attaching a target (5) for vehicle wheel alignment measurement, comprises a base body (10) having a central portion and at least two, in particular three, arms (22, 23, 24) extending radially outwards from the central portion of the base body (10). Each of the arms (22, 23, 24) has a movable element (32a, 33a, 34a) which is movable relative to the base body (10) in the radial direction in order to vary the length of the arm (22, 23, 24) in the radial direction; a pressure element (52, 53, 54), in particular a compression spring, which is arranged and adapted to push the movable element (32a, 33a, 34a) outward in radial direction; and a traction element (62, 63, 63) mechanically coupled to the moveble element (32a, 33a, 34a) and arranged and adapted to pull the movable element (32a, 33a, 34a) inward in radial direction. The wheel holder (1) further comprises a coupling element (60) that mechanically couples the traction elements (62, 63, 63) of the at least two arms (22, 23, 24) to each other.

摘要: A tire and wheel lift assembly for facilitating the removal and installation of wheel/tire assemblies for vehicles includes a rolling frame member that is generally U-shaped, having a center support member and a pair of parallel side support members. A first roller is disposed on a first side support member, and a second roller is attached to a slidable support member so that the rollers are positioned in parallel relation at the same height. The rollers are used to support a wheel/tire assembly, and the slidable support member may slide along the center support member. An adjustment mechanism controls the slidable support member, which can either raise or lower the height of the wheel/tire assembly by sliding the slidable member toward or away from the first roller.

摘要: An automobile wheel lifting device for the installation of wheels when automobile is on a hydraulic lift. A motorized scissor lift table holds the wheel in a stable vertical position while lifting. Vertically stable position is ensured by a stabilizing arm placed on the wheel by the mechanic with one hand only, before lifting begins. Rate of lifting is such that when the wheel mounting holes are aligned with the studs the lifting can be stopped, the wheel rotated and installed. Lifting device avoids contact with the automobile body by lifting as if the mechanic lifted by hand. Stabilizing arm does not obstruct the view of the mechanic during lifting.

摘要: A vehicle wheel torque brace for inhibiting rotation of a vehicle wheel includes a brace body including a relatively thick stopper portion and a relatively thin wedge portion that is stepped down in thickness relative to the wedge portion. The wedge portion decreases in thickness from one side of the brace body to an opposite side of the brace body. A contact pad is carried by the wedge portion. The contact pad and wedge portion are shaped and sized to be wedged between a tire of the vehicle wheel and a strut assembly to inhibit rotation of the vehicle wheel.

摘要: In one embodiment, there is provided an apparatus for retaining and moving an automobile tire, and which includes a pair of tire engagement roller assemblies and a lever actuator assembly coupled to the roller assemblies. The roller assembly includes a movable base frame and a tire engaging roller rotatably coupled to the base frame, and the lever actuator assembly includes a lever arm, a link arm pivotally coupled to the lever arm along a length thereof, and a retention bar for selectively holding the lever and link arms in a fixed position relative to each other. Longitudinal end portions of the lever and link arms are rotatably coupled to associated said roller assemblies. Rotational movement of the lever arm towards a generally upright position effects inward movement of the roller assemblies towards each other to mount the tire disposed therebetween.

摘要: A tyre changing apparatus 1, for use with tyres on large haul trucks employed in mining operations. The apparatus includes a tyre handler. The grab unit of the tyre handler can provide a stable work platform from which robots may execute tasks. Hence, a first robot is disposed adjacent to the proximal end of arm and a second robot is disposed adjacent to the proximal end of the second arm. This apparatus may be utilised by the robots so as to spread the gap in a lock ring to assist when removing and installing the lock ring. An o-ring installation device may be utilized by the robots when installing an o-ring.
